I provide a leisurely walk when I am walking my own dog since he is a bulldog, however I am willing to adapt to whatever the dogs needs are. I am able to walk two dogs at one time and my boyfriend is also available to walk two at one time as well. We usually walk around the lake and then back home which is about two miles.

Hi,

We treat your pups like they are part of the family! I'm a Wildlife Biologist and my son and I love animals. This is a great opportunity for my son to learn to be more responsible and I'm very proud of him for helping care for the many types of pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, reptiles, birds).

I am a runner, so if you have an active dog that needs to burn off energy, I can come take him or her on a run.
In other cases, I like to take my dogs and dogs I am sitting out in the morning and then out again in the afternoon depending on the weather. If it is too hot I will wait until night time.

Walks are catered to your pets' needs and the weather. While you're away, we can leisurely stroll or have an active walk or jog around the neighborhood, park, on the beach; sit for a spell and watch a soccer game; walk Fashion Island or The Spectrum; whatever your pet is familiar with and makes them happy! Rates may vary.

I have walked multiple dogs throughout my adult life but am just as comfortable walking one, two, three or more at a time :)

All dogs are walked with the goal of giving them the stimulation and exercise they need while letting them know that I am the Pack-Leader. I am very interactive, calm, firm and loving during our walks and that translates into a happy and secure pet. I take photos during all walks that I then relay onto you at the end of each walk so you can feel close to your beloved friend. Along with your photo/s you will get a brief summary of our walk including energy level and stool condition. I am watchful for any 'trigger' dogs and I am Coyote Tested: I carry a Whistle and Air Horn and always stay in firm control. I am expert in walking very large dogs (I have owned an Irish Wolfhound) as I am with small dogs. I always maintain leash control while still letting your dog enjoy the sights and sounds of the great outdoors!

I am able to take leisure walks to a park or around a few blocks. I have owned 5 dogs at once and was able to take all 5 on walks all at once. So, multiple dogs are possible.
I've also taken dogs to the Huntington Beach dog beach as a way to make them more social.
I generally like to take walks for about an hour or two just because it allows to go to more interesting places and explore.
When I go to the parks with dogs, I take water and food to keep them hydrated.

We Love walking and are very active. Depending on your pup or dog's age and desire, we will accommodate:). can be active or more leisurely. Lots of scenery, many parks, walking trails, or beach areas of OK with you.

If OK with you, we will enjoy your dog and our dog, Belle, with outings that we participate in..and make sure we all have fun together. We also take many many photos to send to you while you are away so you will feel assured your dog is having fun too!! If you prefer we take your do on solo walks, we will do that too.
so many beautiful places in Orange County to enjoy. While walking we will be providing filtered water stops to you pup often and maybe ball throwing and relaxing along the way to see the sites.

We like the ocean trails along Huntington Beach, Balboa, Laguna, and city walks in Orange, the District and the Spectrum.

A combination of leisurely n active. Like the dog to accompany me during my morning walks. Also, my kids really love dogs and would like to walk the dog with me. My son is really active. He would like to play outside with the dog on a daily basis. The morning walks would be with me only but most likely, we would like to take him/her out togather in the afternoon, we live in an area where there are many parks and nature trails.

Leisurely for senior dogs as they are probably not as active as younger dogs. for the younger pups and dogs I would speed up the pace and start to have a jog for them for whoever long the time interval being charged. I usually only walk one dog only as multiple dogs is a little too much as leashes can get tangled and can cause a lot of problems. Walking dogs I will be accommodating if they do have pee or poop I will clean up after them and take them on routes with a good amount of space on the road.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Irvine

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Irvine, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Irvine. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
