About: I’ve been working in daycares, doing home visits and volunteering in shelters and animal hospitals for about 5-6 years now. I have 2 cats of my own one is a senior at 13 years young and the other is only going to be turning 2 this year. With having worked in the animal industry for a little while now I have pick up the best tips and tricks to make me the best dog handler I can be. I have confidence in all animal behavior and how to look for it and what to look for. I have emergency knowledge and an emergency kit I carry around if needed. I can care for any animal small or big and shy or energetic. Your pet will be treated like royalty while with me 😌 I am doing Rover full time ! So I consist of taking your of your pet in any way/time they need taking care of ! For overnight stays I know stress can really make animals uncomfortable so while I’m in your home I ask a lot of questions about your routine that you do with you pet/pets so I can mimic it the best I can and your pet can have some similarity while you are away. Especially with medication and feedings. But I also try to make it as special as I can so they feel like they’re on a fun vacation. And of course I will always leave your house better looking/just as good as when I came, I will be 100% respectful of your property and belongings. For walks I keep your dog right beside me while still letting him/her get all the sniffing in that they want while actively watching my surroundings !

About: I have loved and cared for animals my whole entire life! I’ve worked with animals for about 11 years. My past pet jobs I’ve been with locally were with Monique’s Pet Parlor in Temple City & The Bowhaus Pet Company in Pasadena for many years, a few years ago I joined the Vet Tech program at Carrington College and interned at local hospitals around the area, since the pandemic I have left the program and now I do Rover full-time. I love being around animals and caring for them! I would love to care for your pets while you are gone :) I am able to be with your pets full time but I would need to accommodate 2-4 hours a day during longer stays to go home and check up on my own animals. I am able to follow whatever schedule you have that your pets need whether it’s walks, medications, etc & then I will go check on my pups quickly after your animals schedule is fulfilled for that time period :) Since Rover and working with animals is a full-time job for me I can accommodate any day or hour that I am not already booked up and can fulfill whatever schedule you have set for me to take care of your pets! I don’t ever leave pets unattended in yards or cars that’s how I am with my pups I don’t even let them go to the bathroom alone. If you have a pet with a strict diet or schedule I can follow whatever is needed and can be with your pet full-time, I would just need the 2-4 hour time frame to check on my pets.

16. Nayelli H.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs as early as the age of 10. I grew up in my bestfriend’s home who owned 15+ Yorkshire terriers because her mom use to breed and showcase their dogs. I was taught the basics as a kid to care for an animal such as feeding, bathing, cleaning up after, and occasionally grooming. As soon as I turned 18, I finally made the decision to have dogs of my own because I wasn’t allowed to have a pet (besides a fish) due to financial and household conditions. Due to the way I grew up with dogs, I grew an attachment to caring for all kinds of animals which led to my dream of becoming a veterinarian. As I got older, I decided that becoming a veterinary technician is where I felt the most comfortable. I am not a veterinary technician just yet as I am looking forward to taking my VTNE, which is a national exam to become certified and begin my career. I already have clinic experience as it was required when I attended trade school between Jan 2020-June 2021 and I have personal experience from raising my 3 year old beagle and 2 year old Doberman. Pet care fits wherever it’s needed in my schedule as I am currently unemployed even though I still make a small income from instacart but that job is also flexible where I am able to work as I please. I would love to offer the service of caring pets in my own home but unfortunately it is not my home to make that decision. What I am available for is caring for pets at a clients home where I will follow all the directions that client’s provide me with. Of course the pet will require their feeding and bathroom breaks as needed. Mental stimulation and physical activity is very much necessary, optional but necessary especially if the client has a working dog breed. Working breed or not, every pet deserves attention and to be played with, it’s also a very good first step when being introduced to a client’s pet for the first time to develop trust over time.

“Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Oreo and vanilla! Your attention and care mean the world to us.. God bless you and your family”
18. Jasmine H.
“I have a beautiful dog named Zoe. She has separation anxiety so when we went on a family holiday for a few days we wanted to make sure she was home instead of somewhere unfamiliar. When we contacted Jasmine she was more than happy to watch over the house and even left it cleaner than before! Went as far as cleaning the mirrors! Best money I spent in a while.”
19. Jocelynn S.
About: I have experience volunteering at an animal shelter with formal cat training. As a former pet owner, I definitely also have experience handling cats and dogs. Available weekends! But also can be flexible during the work week. My work schedule allows me to be pretty flexible so open to accommodating if requested I would love to meet your pet and get to know what you also expect or would like for me to know about their behaviors, dislikes, dietary needs etc.
20. Jose T.
