Walks with me will be around the neighborhood anywhere from a few blocks to a few miles or around a park. Walks can be made to a local dog park if requested. There are also open options for a solo walk or if the one prefers, with multiple dogs, Leisurely or active walks are available; If you'd like, a brisk run is well within my abilities. I am willing to cater to you and your dog's individual needs. I am very attentive to dogs and their behavior towards other animals and people so you can rest assured that I will keep incidents at bay.

I can walk to the pace of the dog (might have slight issues with stronger dogs, but can manage), walk as many as 3 small dogs at a time or 2 bigger dogs at a time. I usually go around the neighborhood a couple times, and try to find some "secret paths" to make things a little more exciting every time. I bring trash bags with me for potty breaks and a water bottle and a bowl for resting periods. If another dog is passing by, and my dog is tensing up, I usually slow down a little and tighten the grip on the lease and make sure they don't get too excited. If both parties are friendly, I'll let them sniff each other and play for a couple minutes, and then go on our way. If not, I'll slow down and occasionally try to find a different path to take, to avoid conflict.

Leisurely walks but can be more active and even a slow jog if the dog is very athletic and active. I usually walk two dogs at a time. If your doggie prefers solo walks I can take them alone and up to the local East Bay Regional Park (Garin Park and Vargas Plateau).

I'm a good hiker and I can walk long distances. That will make your dog tired and happy, sleep well after the daily exercise.
It's not a problem for me to walk the dogs three times a day. I can walk three small sizes dogs at a time.

Give it a try of my service and you will never feel regret about it.
thanks,
Xiao ming

I will walk the dog according to the owner's preferences. If your dog is extremely active, I will make sure to accomodate to his/her needs. Trips to the dog park will also be made possible with the owner's permission of course! ;) Generally whenever I walk my dog, its around my neighborhood for 45-1hr per walk. The dog will always be on leash and controlled. If theres ever a situation where the dog im walking shows aggression towards another dog or person, I have experience handling the dog and preventing further problems.

Depending on the type of breed, the walk can include going to a dog park if the need to let more energy out. I live on 150 acre property so I have plenty of room to walk the dog. I can watch multiple dogs as well. My family has always had multiple pets and growing up I had 4 dogs. I can do any type of walk that the owner of the pet is requesting.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Fremont

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Fremont, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Fremont. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
