About: I've had pets ever since I can remember, believing that a home isn't complete without them. Growing up, our family had dogs of all sizes. Once on my own, I welcomed a tiny Yorkie into my life, and for 15 incredible years, she was my constant companion. From her puppy days to her golden years, I cared for her unwaveringly. I've often been entrusted with the care of family and friends' pets, as they see me as responsible and genuinely caring. Recently, I said goodbye to my dear Yorkie, and while the heartbreak persists, my Bengal cat offers some comfort and love. I'm eager for the opportunity to spend time with more dogs, channeling the affection I miss so dearly. I currently work part time. I am self employed so I am able to make my own schedule. I am available during the day on most days. Currently I have a bengal cat that is strictly an indoor cat. He is timid and tends to just stay away from other animals that come into our home. In clients homes I would care for their pets in a way that reflects how they care for their pets at home.

About: -14 years of experience taking care of cats and dogs -Volunteered abroad in the Philippines in 2023 with animal rescue and rehabilitation -Active lifestyle for energetic dogs (but also love to cuddle!) I just finished my contract with BigBrotherBigSisters, where I taught elementary kids about their brains! I am a part time student at UBC Okanagan who loves to get outdoors. I see this as a great opportunity to provide and receive some animal love :). Tuesdays and Thursdays I have class from 6:30 to 8 but may be flexible! As a university student living downtown with roommates, I am available to house sit and take care of pets in clients homes. I know a lot of great walking trails around Kelowna :)

About: Hey I’m Rachelle! - I’ve always loved animals. I used to have a golden retriever. Cohen lived a great life and was super loved. But now I have two young cats! They’re so much fun and really friendly. Just the best little companions. I’m also a dog groomer! I have a very gentle approach and I’m comfortable with all breeds :) I’m available for boarding after 2pm and weekends. I’m working part time so I’ll have lots of time to play with your furry little friend!! I don’t have a fenced yard but there are areas to potty seconds from the door. Your pup will be taken out regularly and perhaps join me for a hike or two! There will always be fresh water available, and he/ she will be fed according to their feeding schedule. I won’t give any human food to avoid stomach upset. I’m not super picky about furniture so they can run wild! As for sleeping arrangements either a blanket on the ground, on the bed or in a crate!

About: I have over 5 years of experience working in pet valu stores, including time in management. In my time at these stores I learned many different things regarding pet health, nutrition and safety. I cared for cats as well as many small animals of all different kinds both at work & in my personal life. I have personal experience caring for leopard geckos, bearded dragons, cornsnakes and kingsnakes, lots of different rodents and small animals including rabbits. I currently have a 60lb rhodesian ridgeback cross, a cat and 2 bearded dragons. I have no scheduling restrictions and would love more than anything to spend all of my days with animals! I’m available on short notice & long term! During house sitting I will treat your home with the utmost respect and cleanliness, better than I would my own home. I understand the importance of privacy and how nerve wracking it can be to share your home with a sitter. Your pet(s) will have my attention 24/7 and will never be left unattended outside of your instruction. I am happy to provide as many updates and photos as you’d like for your confidence and will always be available for communication!

About: I am a natural empathic animal lover, who prides themselves on the top quality care for your pet. Having a pet myself, I know the anxieties that come with trusting someone with something so valuable. While your pet is with me they will feel safe, secure, and loved. I have house and pet sat for many family members and friends. I know how important updates are on your precious family member. I work from home so I have the flexibility with my scheduling. I can go in the mornings before work, or in the afternoons, or evening. I can take them to dog parks and other activities if the owner approves. I have experience with many different breeds, both big and small, and have worked with pet owners and their pets to keep consistency in the training routines. I have had criminal record checks done on myself, and those who live in my home. We both have an animal of our own and know the importance of proper pet care. While in your home I will hold the upmost respect of your space , and keep things clean. I understand that some pets need to have their familiar space and am willing to come into the home for you. I work from home, so my schedule that I am available for dog walking can be very fluid. I am always free after 4pm. I also do not work on weekends. At this time we are not offering doggy daycare or boarding in our own home. If I were to come to your home, I would treat it as if it was my own - with the upmost respect and care.

I promise to always go above and beyond in ensuring each visit or walk is not just a routine, but a joyful experience for your beloved fur baby 🥰 I’m currently a full-time student and have plenty of time between, before, and after classes to spread my love to your pups! Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays almost anytime works; Tuesdays after 2pm and Thursdays after 1pm; Saturdays and Sundays are open! Having regular visits and creating a bond with your pets is the most important thing, along with following all of the instructions set into place in order to ensure comfortability for all parties!
