1. Angela G.
“Angela is a pleasure to deal with. She was comfortable dealing with our large dog (Happy), feeding him raw food and spent quality time with him. She was thoughtful enough to bring her own dog so Happy had some entertainment. She is reliable and sent photos so we could see how much he was enjoying hanging with her. Happy is always excited to see Angela.”
2. Jesi M.
“I worked with Jesi for about 3 years at an animal hospital and she made every day more enjoyable not only for me but the pets as well. She really takes her time to show each and every patient/pet the attention and care they deserve. She remembers the little details about each one and clients seemed to be at ease when their pet’s were in her hands. She also watched my cats for me multiple times with flying colors.”

We know that when she is here looking after our pet that he is receiving the very best care, she loves animals! Terry has stayed overnight several times and when we come home the house is clean and tidy!”

“Brandi was very thorough with walking us through the whole process of using Rover. Her recaps were so detailed and Tippy had a blast having Brandi walk her. “Ian is fantastic! We have two large Great Danes who both come with their own issues. Our female is extremely anxious, especially on leash and with new people. Our male has been having his own concerns lately showing signs of discomfort around children and some other dogs. Both dogs took to Ian on day one. He is very calm and patient. Also, great communication!”

About: Apart from being an animal lover, I am a naturally warm and nurturing person. After living with cats and dogs during my 20's I have fallen into pet-sitting by happenstance a few years ago. It is not until recent, that I considered doing this professionally. People trust me and so do the animals. I have really enjoyed getting to know each pet and their personalities and having fun together. I work with a winery, where dogs roam freely often. Currently, the season is low and I am mostly at home with plenty of spare time to care for your furr-babies! I am super flexible with timing. Let's just have a chat! In my home I am in a larger-sized apartment, situated near a beach. The home and building is pet-friendly and safetied. Although I lack a yard, I have ample time to spend outdoors taking your pet for a walk and to play at nearby parks. I provide general care every pet should have, in addition to any needs and instructions you provide for me to make sure your pet is loved and cared for while in my hands. I also have a history of house-sitting, so if you feel more comfortable having me come to your space to care for your pet I am happy to do so as well. Again, I am super-flexible and easygoing to arrangements.
12. Sara D.
“Sara is fantastic! Our dog Bodhi has a few quirks and she did an incredible job taking care of him. She is wonderful with communication, always on time, and clearly loves to care for animals.”

About: I’m very active and have my dog out walking at least three times a day. I generally walk between 3-7km each walk. If house pet sitting I will likely have my pup along as well as when walking but I can also do solo if need. I am able to walk or let pets out early mornings, afternoons and evening most days with flexibility on weekends. Staying in homes can be during the week or weekends I like walking along trails and prefer it over a dog park. I can socialize if need be at dog parks after I and the pup have gotten to know each other! I personally find the dog parks chaotic and some owners not as caring or mindful of all needs Im a RN student, based in Penticton and travel to Kelowna a couple days. I have free time to fill with walks and care. Being outside with animals is my happy place. I live in a condo so I get my pup out many times a day for breaks! We are willing to walk with another dog or solo.

Her reliability and punctuality are also worth mentioning - I have never had to worry about my dog's schedule being disrupted. If you are looking for a dog sitter who will treat your furry friend like family, look no further than Madison on the Rover website. When your pet is with me, they're in capable, caring hands! I work part time and am free most days to take your four legged family for walks, come hang out or pick them up! I am also often free on weekends I treat all the animals I interact with as individuals with different needs and personalities and always treat your pets and your space as if it were my own. I want to make your pet feel like its at a home away from home, which means keeping their regular schedules while adding that extra play or cuddle time to keep them entertained and loved. Im more than happy to do a meet and greet trip to let them sniff and get to know me. If you have any other questions, please ask!
17. Connie L.
“Connie is an animal lover, she put so much time into researching and inevitably diagnosing our female German shepherd with an enzyme deficiency when several vets couldn’t. She cares so much about animals and their well being. If you are lucky enough to have connie take care of your pets, rest assured they are in good hands.”
