Taking your dog for a good brisk walk could help improve their health, mood and mellow them out. Whether it's a 30 minute or 60 minute walk it will be an excellent physical activity for them. I can walk multiple dogs at once, I prefer no more than 3 and they must all be friendly with each other. If you'd like me to take your dog to a dog park I can do that as well.

I can provide leisure and/or busy active walks up to 3 dogs. Solo dog walks I can provide exciting scenic areas, energetic park play with toys, running and biking with dog as well. I will provide a safe and positive environment.
I can also take great pictures or record small video clips of footage and make into a video for dog owner if desired.

The walks that I take are generally leisurely. However, if the dog seems like they need to release some energy, then we will go for a run and may even stop to play! I have experience walking multiple dogs at once, walking solo, as well as walking dogs who struggle with leash pulling. Once I am familiar with the area, I will take the dogs away from certain distractions to avoid any unnecessary pulling and barking. Walking a dog properly is all about knowing the surroundings and knowing the dog's behavior and habits.

My walks are always catered to the dogs' personality or age. The active dog gets a good upbeat walk or jog. The more easy going pooch (or old timer canines) can take a relaxing leisurely stroll through the neighborhood. I can walk multiple dogs at a time providing that they are well mannered, but I also enjoy catering to those that prefer one on one attention. I like to start each walk with a couple minutes of preparation for the elements. Starting with hydration and fitting paws with dog shoes or booties so they do not get burned and/or blistered from hot concrete or asphalt. And also application of sunscreen for those who have sensitive skin.
Once we are on our walk I like to cater to the dog’s curiosities of the world and allow them to sniff at their hearts’ content (as long as it doesn’t lead to invading private property). Hopefully if there is a nearby park an extra effort will be made to have enough time to visit. On especially long walks I carry water so we both do not succumb to the hot days of the valley. If there are any special requests that the owners have as to the route or other pup spoiling ventures I am more than happy to oblige. I will do my best to make sure pets take bathroom breaks on their walk before returning home. Once we have come back home I make sure pets rehydrate before settling back into the cool comforts of home.

My walks with my dogs usually are leisurely, if my dogs are excited and energized that day and want to run the walk can be active and fun and I will run with them. I'm used to walking two dogs at a time, one big dog and one little dog. I'm more than willing to walk multiple dogs at once and have no trouble doing so.

Leisure or active - whatever your dog needs and for as long as your dog needs (of course, depending on weather and temperature). No preference as to dog type or size for the walks, as long as they are friendly. Sometimes I can walk more than one dog at one time, depending on the type of dog. Just provide leash and harness (if necessary) and I can bring doggy poop bags. I always pick up after your pet.

I am able to provide both leisurely and active walks for either solo or multiple dogs. I will cater to your dog’s needs depending on health issues, if need be. I have a dog who is only able to walk or be active for a certain amount of time before his leg starts to hurt or become tired, so I am familiar with catering to the dog’s needs. I am also familiar with working on leash pulling, as my dog likes to pull on his leash, also. I love to make the walks fun and enjoyable for the dogs so they have the best nap of their lives when they get back! Whether your dog prefers fast-paced walks, or slow and steady walks, I am your girl!

My walks vary depending on who comes with me. I am a fairly active person so I have lots of energy to expend. I enjoy slow walks just as much as I like going on jogs. I prefer gauging my doggy companion(s) and determining what they might feel up to. If what they want is to make stops to smell flowers every three seconds I'm more than happy to oblige. Otherwise, if they feel like goofing off on a grassy field and playing fetch, I'm also game for that! I can do one or multiple dogs depending on their size and (pulling) power.

I enjoy taking my personal dogs on a decent walk throughout our neighborhood and stopping at local parks to let them run and be the carefree animals they are. I like to get the dogs running around, playing catch or tug a war. We also like to go to the dog park by our house as well.

leisurely walks, especially in the heat. Will walk 2 dogs on the same walk. As the weather cools, maybe a more brisk walk for alittle exercise, depending on the age of the dog. Will go for walks two to three times a day. Time length, depending on age of dog would be around 15 to 30 minutes

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Chandler

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Chandler, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Chandler. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
