My walks would most likely be Park walks or when I'm working out some days I walk for leisure other days I actively run. If need be I will run with dog if necessary. I can walk up to 3 dogs at a time but run with one dog at a time. I will be walking solo so no one else or other dogs will be around. The park is usually quiet and there are plenty of room for dogs to play if they want.

My husband & I can do what you need. Walk, jog, take them to the park, etc... We can handle multiple dogs as there are two of us. We are retired at a young age & are very healthy & active. We exercise on a regular basis.

The walks will be catered to your specific needs. Whether your dog likes a light jog or a leisurely stroll, I can accommodate to their needs. I can also walk up to two dogs at a time regardless of size. I am skilled with dogs who get overly excited while exploring their surrounding and can handle pullers and tuggers.

The walks are leisurely walks that get them up, out, and being active. I give them time to do their business. On return, freshen water, give treats if requested to do so by owner and that the owner provides due to dietary needs. Remember, a tired dog is a happy dog.

whatever the pet parent desires!! If the dog is a senior or in poor health if will be leisurely with ample time to sniff around. More active dogs can get a brisk walk, or a jog to help tire them out & give adequate exercise. If more than one dog is required , pets must get along & be dog friendly. If not dog friendly they will be walked/exercised individually.

The walks can be as active or as leisurely as the dogs want/need. It will depend entirely on how far and how fast the dog wants to walk. I currently have a lab mix who loves to walk! We usually walk twice a day-once in the morning and once at night. We try to walk about 3-4 miles a day. I have cared for older dogs before so I know how to walk at a slower pace that will still allow for the older dog to get out and get some fresh air.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Mobile

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Mobile, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Mobile. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
