About Nicole

2 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi! My name is Nicole. I've always had a love for animals. While serving in the Peace Corps in Mongolia, I spent my time working with locals to develop an animal club where we taught children in the village to care for domesticated animals. I brought home a dog and a cat from Mongolia that have become my family! Through this experience, I developed a deep love for caring for animals. I worked at an animal shelter briefly and since than have been working for the YMCA of Boulder Valley. I have recently stepped down into a part time position and have more time to do what I truly love- spending time with pets! I would love to pet sit at your home, stop by to take your dog for a walk/jog or spend some time with them through out the day!

Nicole has always had a love for animals. As a family (I am her sister), we have had a dog, four cats, birds, gerbils, guinea pigs, fish, you name it. She has always been exposed to animal care and even focused a project around animal care in her Peace Corps journey in Mongolia. On top of all of this, she owns a Mongolian wolf dog and cat taken from the wild in Mongolia. She has domesticated both. It may not be surprising how difficult it may be to domesticate a Mongolian wolf dog, but Nicole took on the challenge and her dog now shows so much love for her, other dogs, and Nicole's partner Darren. If she can handle a territorial dominant dog, I think she can show love and protection for any animal that may be in need. In animal emergency situations, she is the one to pick up the phone and call animal emergency services within seconds. There is no reason why you shouldn't trust her sitting skills!
