About Beth

Having 4 beautiful rescue dogs that I can't live without, I know how you feel about your fuzzy kids! After my degree in Equine Science in 1980 I have been blessed to enjoy a lifetime career with horses, dogs, cats, etc. Including; 30+ years working with horses, 4 years Equine veterinary tech and 2 years small animal vet tech. I was in charge of the large dog kennel at a no kill shelter for 4 years. I also have many years of pet sitting experience and I'm ready to have fun with your pets! I know how much they miss you when you're gone. I want to make sure that you don't worry and they have a smile on their face and a wag in their tail when you come home! Is your dog shy, anxious or difficult with strangers? I do understand and have the patience to take the time to be their friend. Boisterous or hyper? That's great! I am very comfortable giving meds, dealing with any special needs, My pets are all rescues and some needed a lot of reassurance before they felt safe at home. At the shelter I worked successfully at the socialization of all types of dogs, whether dog/dog or dog/people. Many dogs that I was told would never get adopted were adopted. Some of these dogs did not look at people as their friends. It just took a little extra effort!

Beth was so AWESOME!!! I do have a large dog that does not warm up to strangers like "normal" dogs. Mylo's bark and growl can be very scary. Beth has a very kind and gentle heart. She made Mylo feel safe and warmed right up to her.Beth does have other dogs in her home and they welcomed Mylo with open paws.Beth sent me pictures and kept in touch with me.
Thank you Beth!!

Beth was very careful during the meet and greet to have each of her dogs walk a bit with my dog one on one to see if they got along. I had some concern over one of her dogs which is quite large and extremely boisterous, but she took care to segregate my dog with her other more socialized pets. She also sent several pictures by text during his stay to show that Scooter was well and happy.

Beth is an animal lover and takes care of your dog as if he or she is her own. She was easy to communicate with and sent pictures of my dog playing and sleeping on the bed. She was very kind and I will definitely be using her again!
