Having 4 beautiful rescue dogs that I can't live without, I know how you feel about your fuzzy kids! After my degree in Equine Science in 1980 I have been blessed to enjoy a lifetime career with horses,dogs,cats,etc. Including; 30+ years working with horses, 4 years Equine veterinary tech and 2 years small animal vet tech. I was in charge of the large dog kennel at a no kill shelter for 4 years. I also have many years of pet sitting experience and I'm ready to have fun with your pets! I know how much they miss you when you're gone. I want to make sure that you don't worry and they have a smile on their face and a wag in their tail when you come home! Is your dog shy,anxious or difficult with strangers? I do understand and have the patience to take the time to be their friend. Boisterous or hyper? That's great! I am very comfortable giving meds, dealing with any special needs, My pets are all rescues and some needed a lot of reassurance before they felt safe at home. At the shelter I worked successfully at the socialization of all types of dogs, whether dog/dog or dog/people. Many dogs that I was told would never get adopted were adopted. Some of these dogs did not look at people as their friends. It just took a little extra effort!
