Welcome! I am passionate about pets and people! I have over 25 years experience boarding, training, and rescuing dogs of all sizes, ages, and backgrounds. I understand that all pets, families and people are unique. With this in mind, I ensure the highest quality, 5-star, professional care service for you and your pet(s) including: - Personalized care to accommodate all the needs unique to you and your pet. - A fulfilling vacation for you and your pet. - My guests’ safety, well-being and satisfaction as my main priorities. - Regular updates, pictures and communication. - At least 3 outings a day. - Private 1-on-1 care OR socialization stays with a max of 3 dogs. - Tailored care, socialization and exercise specific to your dog's needs. - A large fenced outdoor area and large indoor spaces. - Outdoor adventures to the mountains, beaches, trails, lakes and parks. - Background in positive reinforcement and engagement methods training based on peer-reviewed, science-based techniques. - Kennel free care but crate is available if you are crate training or your pet is more comfortable with their bed in a crate.

Kazu had a daycare test run with Chantelle and I could tell he enjoyed his time with her during pick up. She was knowledgeable and familiar with the needs of a high energy puppy. I'd be interested in having Chantelle take care of Kazu again in the future.
Chantelle is very good with our dog Ralphie. He can be a little anxious sometimes and Chantelle is always patient and sweet. She’s very good at taking him on little adventures.

It is a large space with a fenced yard where each guest can have their own separate, private, and comfortable space to relax or take a break on their own. Or we can arrange 1-on-1 private care.

What is your pet's general routine and schedule (including feeding, exercise and training)? eg. Describe a typical day with you and your pet. Does your pet have any special dietary or medical requirements? Does your pet have any behavioural issues? If so, how are they managed? Does your pet have any triggers (eg. reactivity, anxiety, etc.)? How do you manage them?
A typical day
Customized to you and your pet's needs. At least three outings a day. We can have lots of playtime indoors and outdoors. We can also just relax or cuddle. Or both! I am lucky enough to be within walking distance to several parks and trails that I love going to with my pet guests. If you're comfortable I also enjoy taking them for short car trips to explore other areas, (such as other parks, neighbourhoods, beaches and hikes if permissible) around BC. I gauge what my animal guest is up for and what you are comfortable with and we take it from there. The possibilities are endless!

Availability
Your pet is welcome to have a relaxing stay or I can offer up lots of exploration, adventures and activities while they are with me. Or perhaps something in between. You'll have peace of mind because I will constantly keep you updated throughout their stay with plenty of photos, videos, written updates, and general communication. If you have any special requests or needs just let me know and I will do everything I can to accommodate you and your pet.
