About Andrew

Hi, I’m Andrew – I’m a 25 year old male with a full time job as an investment banking associate here in Boston. Although I work long hours, because I live and work downtown and commute around on a bike, I have flexibility to leave the office for an hour here and there as needed. I am NOT here to make extra money – I do not need it. Honestly, with the right dog and right situation (a breed / dog I love, close to work, flexible on times for arrival, etc.) I’d actually do it for free. That said, I’m will to negotiate fee for services rendered to meet your financial needs. As I said, I simply enjoy doing this. That is the only reason I am here.

My Experience: I helped raise a Boxer (Roscoe, pictured) from 8 weeks thru three years during college with my girlfriend at the time. During that time, I got really into dog training and probably watched every Caesar Milan Dog Whisperer episode. I also began volunteering dog walking at the Humane Society in Harrisburg (home home) and in Chapel Hill (college home). Post-college, I moved to NYC (then Boston) for work and Roscoe moved with the former girlfriend to Denver. I miss caring for dogs. That is why I am here.

My Services: Ideally, I am looking for larger, high-energy breeds (Boxers, Labs, Shepherds, Retrievers, Pits, Terriers, etc.) that need more than a leisurely walk. Or dogs that need extra training. I am very good with leash-handling, and with the right dog, I’m comfortable running, biking, rollerblading, etc. (with owner’s permission, and at my discretion) alongside them. There are a few other constraints on my end that I’m happy to explain with you to see if this would be feasible.

So here’s my vision – I will find a few clients who only need boarding or exercising services on select occasions (maybe when traveling) who prefer their dog in the hands of someone who will give their dog the absolute best care.

Hope to hear from you!

Best,
Andrew

Andrew is a dog whisperer. My dog, Dino, absolutely loves him. The best part for Dino was definitely all the exercise he got and all the nervous energy he got to release before he even went inside. Andrew grabbed his longboard and had Dino run alongside him(something I can't figure out how to do with him) just up and down the street until they got back in front of his apartment with Dino's tail wagging and smiling with his tongue out. Once we got inside the apartment Dino was immediately calm and relaxed. I have worked with Andrew before and he is better with Dino than I am. He radiates a calm assertive energy that dogs just respond to. He has taught Dino not to pull on his leash and to not bark. I have also seen him with other dogs and he really shines with bigger, high energy breeds. He can outrun my dog with ease, and unless your dog is running marathons in under 2 hours and 54 minutes, he will tire out even the highest energy breeds. I 100% recommend Andrew for all dog owners who want their dog to be well cared for and loved.
