I have had experience owning dogs all my life, but I have also worked with and fostered shelter dogs over the past seven years. I've spent a lot of time with larger dogs, but love being with any and all breeds! I live in a small home with a fenced backyard, which makes playtime and potty breaks a breeze! Plus, I work less than ten minutes from where I live, so if your furry friend needs extra checkups, we can make that work. I have a 5-year old lab mix named Jake. He is a rescue so I don't know what life was like before I got him. I do know that he tends to prefer hanging with calmer dogs dogs, but will eventually love almost anyone!
