Throughout high school, I worked at a dog shelter called Houlagans' Rest, which took dogs off the kill line at other shelters and aimed to make them adoptable. Thanks to this shelter, I am trained to work with shy, skittish, food-aggressive, and dog-aggressive dogs. I can read dogs' body language and know how to comfort and soothe them while avoiding bad situations both in the home and out with other dogs. Furthermore, I live in a quiet home with no pets, so any dog is welcome! I live right beside Colonial Williamsburg and the neighborhood is very beautiful with plenty of grass and trees. That being said, I'm also more than happy to spend time with your dog in your home so they have all the comforts of a familiar environment while you are away. This tends to minimize separation anxiety in dogs who are prone to it. I can walk your dog as frequently as they would like, at their pace, and am equipped to administer any necessary medications. I know it can be a stressful and nerve-wracking experience to leave your beloved pets, but I aim to make it a painless and fun experience for both of you!
