I am a big animal lover especially dogs. I have had all sorts of different jobs but I find working with animals most rewarding. About this sitter: I am 29 year old I have a three year old and 6 month old who love animals and our dog Dyson. Before my second child i worked with horses as my main job. I am a very big dog person though. I have worked with training puppies as well as working with recovering adoption dogs. I love walking dogs and spending time with them. I have worked with animals my entire life, growing up on a farm with lots of animals and from showing horses and rabbits for several years. I have always worked well with all animals especially dogs. Working with both dogs and horses I have learned to stay calm with them in all types of situations and make sure that the animal as well as myself and anyone else is safe is my first reaction. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs in my family always growing up. Mostly labs when I was young. I have a Bichon/Carrion Terrior 9 year old dog named Baxtin that my mom adopted from me when I moved away to college before I got my own place. I have potty trained puppies and worked with them to have manors no jumping and walking well on leach ext. I believe in using positive reenforcement with animals. Encouragement when they do well. I feel dogs should have a good amount of attention and love. The more you work with them in a positive environment the easier it is for them to understand what you expect of them. I have a good patience with animals and I enjoy working with them.
