We are a family of dog lovers who all take an active role in caring for the dogs we keep. Everyone in the house loves being a part of it and helping out. We originally started this business to help our dog, Chloe, overcome depression after we lost our first dog to cancer (a plan that worked out very well) but we have kept it going because it's really a lot of fun and so neat seeing all the different personalities of dogs that come and go. My husband and I really enjoy doing this and we take our job as dog sitters very seriously. Safety is key and we've learned a lot about how to be the best dog sitters we can be over the last year since we started this business.
I am a stay-at-home-mom and my husband works from home so aside from church on Sunday and occasional quick errands, your dogs will have someone with them the majority of the time, which is especially good for dogs that struggle with separation anxiety. This is one aspect of booking with us that clients seems to really appreciate is that their dog will not be left alone for long periods of time day after day.
When your dogs stay with us they will be surrounded by love and given the greatest care possible. The dogs we keep spend most of their time indoors. We do not keep them in crates throughout the day, however, we do use crates for when we leave the house and also for overnight sleeping. And there's no need for you to bring your own crate as we have everything on hand that is needed. The only thing we ask owners to bring along for their dog's stay is their bed and food. The beds we request so they can have something that smells like home. We find it to be a great comfort to them especially when it's their first stay. So aside from that and their food you can leave the rest to us. We provide daily treats in the form of milk bones or carrots and we also have bowls for each dog for food and water. Our goal is for them to feel safe and happy while their families are away at work or on vacation.
We have a generous sized living area as well as a large backyard with lots of shade for dogs to feel comfy and have plenty of room to run and play. We have had many clients over the last year who have told us they will never again board their dog at a commercial kennel because they have seen the difference in the dog's personality after a stay like what they receive in our home vs spending a lot of time in a small enclosure somewhere else. Clients have also complained that the pricing at commercial boarding places is getting outrageous with all the "add-ons" that come at no additional charge when they stay with us. See the difference for yourself and book your stay today!
