My name is Sharla, I have been living and working in Chicago for the last 15 years. What I love most about this city are the people and the cute dogs that live here. I am a pet owner myself and an avid dog lover! I adopted a Bichon Poodle mix many years ago and he forever changed my life. The connection that we had is beyond just owner and pet, he was my best buddy, my bundle of joy, my little side kick and my snuggle friend. We went on many adventures together, hiking, biking, beaching and lots of park explorations. We met friends wherever we would go and see them quite often on our treks or at gatherings. He lived to the wise age of 19 and I will forever miss him in my life. A new fluffly 2 year old Poodle mix, Mushu, has entered into my life and we are working on training and bonding. We live in a second floor, spacious, two bedroom apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood, next to River Park and not far from spacious Horner Park and Wells Park. There is a nice fully fenced in backyard for doggie sun bathing and taking in the fresh air. We keep things nice and cool in the apartment during the hotter months of the year. We know almost all of our neighbors and dog neighbors in the area. We visit our favorite dog haunts for treats and walk to different neighborhoods, exploring the city and taking lots of pee breaks and water stops along the way. We have hosted our friends' dogs over the years. Mushu is very dog friendly and being a young boy, he likes to play. I have experience with older senior dog care and younger energetic dogs. We have a lot of cuddles and love for all of our pet friends, we welcome your special companion to stay with us for great care, comfort and lots of walks and treats!
