40 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
#Currently booking Christmas & New Year's dates. Securing a booking depends on a successful Meet n Greet. Thank you for your understanding.

NOTICE: Your pup(s) (children to some) are PRICELESS! Seeing a low rate on this site can be very appealing and may make you wonder why other rates are higher. But leaving your loved one in someone's care requires that that person has a vast amount experience caring & handling canines, is a responsible, fast, forward thinker who can handle emergencies and understands how a canine typically thinks. This as not a hobby nor a way to make a extra cash from time to time. This is my full time profession were I reinvest in myself for the good of my clients by going to continued educational industry seminars, joining industry groups and practicing what I've been taught. That, plus the number of excellent client testimonials is what I believe what sets us apart from others. Thank you.

We love & host all breeds but we do have a soft spot for "Bully Breeds" like Akitas, Rotties, Pits and Dobies. They get such a bad rap and that prejudice will change the more we in the dog world continue to educated people how wonderful they truly are.

Sitter's Beliefs & Practices
I have a soft spot for all creatures but my love for dogs wins hands down. Dogs have feelings & are smart. For all the love that dogs give they should never suffer-- not one day in their lives. There is something about dogs that steals my heart-- maybe its their innocence, their vulnerability, their loyalty despite how they've been treated or their forgiveness...maybe its all of it? I try to think of everything they may need & provide for them while tapping into their souls connecting on a much higher level. I do all I can to make it easy for them to convey what they want. Believe me they have plenty to say! I don't see them as dogs I see them as children who have a hard time communicating. Dogs need to be respected, understood & taken care of. They didn't select their owners or living conditions. Because of that we all have a responsibility to keep them safe, raise them right & keep them with us until God decides its time for them to go to Heaven. If you can't do these things for them then don't own one!

I keep a close eye on them & seldom leave the home while in my care. If I have to go grocery shopping or walk another pup at a client's home then they are securely crated for the shortest amount of time as will my two to ensure their safety.

If you give us your permission we will take them for the ride and for a nominal fee will take them on a Dog Park trip. * See Rate above.

I am Pro Adoption. My mind was changed when we adopted our two. Prior to my current two we picked up strays or bought. So many need to be rescued. We support the efforts of all dog rescue groups but especially for Mountain Rottie Rescue & Labs4Rescue, (L4R). I am active on Facebook when helping to place dogs & have been successful with the help of groups we know. Why I love dog sitting...
I have been a dog lover my whole life. I can't bare to see an animal of any kind let alone dogs get hurt or deliberately abused by their owner or anyone else for that matter. We are all about providing a safe sanctuary for them to live without fear & to provide love whether they are ours or not. We are here to build trust & provide a wonderful experience so that they are eager to come back & stay again & again.

I've worked with dogs who have are aggressive, pulled on leash, picky eaters, on special diets, who avoid taking their medication (yes, we can administer their injections too), who are afraid of thunder, who are lame, seniors, pups, etc.

Meet my pets
We live with a super sweet extremely social, middle-aged male Rottie & a younger, playful female Yellow Labrador. They are not yard dogs. They are seriously SPOILED!!! Blue Buffalo, raw foods, homemade chicken soup & vitamins, morning massages (zen time) & monthly baths all to keep them strong & afford them a chance to live a long, happy & comfortable life. They have the freedom of the first floor (1500 sq ft) in our home & they love to go bye-bye in our Designated Doggie SUV especially to the Dog Park.

We live on 1.46 acres in a gated community with lakes & lots of space to walk. Our block is on a secluded cul-de-sac with a ball field steps away where we play fetch, walk around & sit relaxing as we listen to & watch nature.
My yard is not fenced in however, we can provide a 30 foot leash that covers a lot of area on our walks..

Your Dog(s)
Meet & Greet (Required to determine if a good fit.) A proper introduction is key to success. Please schedule a date & time at least a few days prior to your pup's stay to determine a good fit. Typically speaking we have a 99% success rate, however there are times when pups (or parents) are not a good match with our pups or practices. Out of town? We can accept your dog, however if they do not gel well your dog will be kept in a sectioned off area of my home, typically kitchen. After you depart & things quiet down again we will re-attempt a formal introduction outside & go for another pack walk & that most often does the trick. If this does not work I will make a determination whether to continue working with your pup on socialization skills or ultimately keep them sectioned off in the kitchen while I'm on the 1st floor for the remainder of their stay.)

Must be well socialized with other dogs and people.
*Note: Socialization is the best practice for their well-being. It is especially important for successful Meet & Greets. The best way to socialize is taking your dog(s) to the Dog Park so they can learn the skills they need to acclimate to other dog(s) while in a safe and contained area. This will help them immensely when being hosted.

My home is large & can accommodate up to 3 additional guests. Please be sure this is ok with you.

Christina was amazing. The care she gave our little Penelope was fantastic. We had pictures and videos everyday and she even treated the puppy to an M&M day...Melon and Massage Day. She is obviously a dog person because it shines through the care she provides. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing their dog watched for any period of time. I would use her again in a heartbeat.

Sincerely,
Frank L.

Christina was awesome! Not only did she take excellent care of Gilligan, she worked on puppy skills like sitting and staying. Christina also sent me daily photos, videos, and notes. Now that he's home again being an only dog, I think he misses being part of "the pack." I would highly recommend Christina to any dog parents. No worries at all when your pup is on vacay at her house!

I was nervous to leave our 8 month old pit bull with anyone due to the fact that she's still testing the waters and trying to find her place. Christina was amazing! I highly recommend her services! She took her time getting to know my pup and gave her the individual care and attention my sweet girl needed. Lucy came home from her doggy vaca a happy girl. She sulked the first afternoon home because she missed her friends. I was sad for her but happy that she had such a great time. I will definitely use Christina's services in the future!

I was extremely nervous leaving my precious dog with a stranger. I was reluctant but Christina was very caring and thoughtful. I received several photos, video and updates during his day. I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences. Christina and her husband were so patient with me as a nervous owner. They took exceptional care of our dog. I would highly recommend Christina.

Donut had a wonderful time with Christina and her dogs. Anytime in the future we need a dogsitter we will be going with her again. She took very good care of him and kept us updated constantly. We were very nervous with Donut being so young, but she was phenomenal with him. Highly recommended!!!!

As always, Christina goes above and beyond for her guests! I have a older and nervous dog and she spent the extra time with her to make her comfortable. When I travel to that area again, Christina is the first call I will be making!
We just adopted our dog so I was a little nervous about leaving him, but the experience was awesome! Christina sent photos of him while we were away and he looked completely comfortable. She was so great with our Murray! Now I have a place for him to go when he can't go with us and I will be completely comfortable leaving him. He'll be with his friends!!!!

Christina was simply great! She accommodated me for my hectic wedding weekend, even though she had an extremely hectic weekend herself. Despite everything she made sure my pups were well taken care of and took the time to give me a detailed report and photos. I have never left my dogs alone for more than a few hours so I was very anxious leaving them for almost two days. She eased my mind and I was glad to see my babies were in such capable hands. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her services again.

Christina was fantastic. She clearly loves dogs and takes excellent care of them. She has 2 large dogs and was very careful about how she introduced them to my timid Vizsla. They all got along great. Her dogs are SUPER sweet. Christina also took the time to ask all about the needs of my dog so she could be sure she was well taken care of.
I would definitely use her again and I highly recommend her!!!

Christina took good care of my dog, will use her again in the future.
Despite a rough start, Christina showed that she understands and knows how to handle dogs which allowed our dog to have a happy visit. She updated us several times a day on our dogs activities and sent pictures as well to assure us that all was well.

Christina was just wonderful with Clancy - she is obviously a dog lover, and gave me a lot of helpful advice regarding his feeding and scheduling. Communication was great - I received many cell pictures of his stay with her as well as daily reports. She is located rather far from my home, but her willingness to take him at the last minute was so appreciated. A very positive experience for me and for Clancy.

We had Christina come to our house to take care of our bunny rabbit. She did an amazing job and we would highly recommend her.
Christina took great care of Bodi and Apollo. We felt very comfortable leaving our dogs in her care while we visited relatives nearby who could not accommodate our two dogs. The entire process from making our reservation to picking up our dogs at the end was very easy. We will definitely plan to bring our dogs to Christina's place next time we visit our family in the Poconos!

Paws down 5 star rating for Christina! She was very attentive and accommodating to our Coco and took special care to make sure Coco was comfortable and happy. We were impressed how her Rotti was especially gentle and got along great with our Coco. Christina’s love of animals was clear in how she handled Coco and her pets. Its nice to be able to enjoy your vacation when you know your pet is having fun too! We will definitely leave Coco with Christina and her family next time we are in the area.
