12. Sommer M.
About: Hello! My name is Sommer. I've been on Rover since January 2024! I love animals and have had experience with pets my whole life (Dogs, cats, parrots, small lizards, gerbils, fish, chickens). I’m a mom of an 8 and 6 year old who also love animals. My Husband and I have been married since 2009. We currently own 3 chickens that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking daily walks around our neighborhood. In the last year we lost our beloved family dog and we really miss having a furry friend in our home. We are sensitive to animals' needs at all ages and uphold the utmost respect for your deserving companion! When they are happy so are we! I currently work part-time from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I'm available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Our yard is partially fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

14. Jamie & Cory J.
About: My fiancé and I have had plenty of experience having pets, but currently we have a pet and child free home. We’ve recently helped both of our parents through the puppy years of their new pets, so we have some familiarity with training too. I work part-time, fully remote from our house, and would make sure to be home on any day I’m sitting a pet. I’m flexible with my schedule. I’m also looking to be active, so love any chance for a short or long walk or a trip to a dog park! Pets are generally free to roam anywhere in our home while we are present, unless there are specific circumstances that would require otherwise based on owner recommendations or requests. I generally would plan to be home while caring for any pets, and within the same room as them so they have company. For puppies with lots of energy I’ll do my best to play and keep them entertained. For more relaxed pets they can join us while we sit and watch a movie, work from home, or catch up on our shows. We have a spacious front and backyard for quick walks, and can take them on longer walks through our subdivision.
15. Cheryl K.
“Cheryl is a trustworthy, reliable, responsible dog lover and dog owner. She has volunteered to dog sit and foster many pooches. Her dogs, as well as those that have visited, are in a safe environment and well cared for. They are shown the love, respect, security, and physical attentiveness that is necessary. She takes into consideration the wants and needs of the pet owner.”
16. Grant B.
“Not only does Grant have a genuine love for animals, but he also has the knowledge and experience necessary to provide top-notch care. He always goes above and beyond to ensure that a dog in his care is well-fed, well-exercised, and well-loved. In addition to his excellent pet care skills, Grant is also a pleasure to work with. He is prompt in his communication and always responds quickly to any questions or concerns that I may have. He is also very flexible and accommodating when it comes to scheduling, which is always appreciated. Overall, I cannot recommend Grant enough as a pet sitter. If you are looking for someone who will treat your furry friend like their own and provide the best care, look no further than Grant!”
