About: New to Burlington area and Rover! Moved from Jersey. I had a dog for 10 years, we rescued him from a farm when he was four (a handsome GSP) so I have been around dogs my whole life. We potty trained, crate trained, and yard trained him. After he passed away at the age of 14, I started dog sitting and house sitting a yellow lab named Maisey who loves to hike, has a bit of a sass to her, and won’t pass up an opportunity to jump up on the couch with you. I then moved to Burlington Vermont and am looking to provide the same love and care for dogs up here! I work from home, so it is very easy for me to be around the majority of the time. The longest I would plan on being away from the home is an hour. I go on daily walks and runs, plus always get outside during the day which is perfect for potty breaks. I live in Burlington so I am steps away from the waterfront and dog parks if approved by the owner. I currently do not have pets in the home. For walking, I go on at least a 20-30 minute walk every morning and do the same at night or a run down by the water. For boarding, I will be home the entire day to care for your pet since I work from home. For house sitting, since I work from home I could work from your house and be there for your dog the entire time requested.
7. Blair Y.
“Blair is a very loving pet mom herself and has watched my furry kids several times. She not only feeds, waters, and cleans up after them, but pets them and talks to them when I have not been home so that they are happy and content. Super reliable and very polite. I had no concerns with her and could enjoy my time away from home fully.”
8. Macy W.
“Macy took care of my dog and 3 cats and did an excellent job administering medication for one of the cats and the dog along with providing us with pictures often!”
9. Cia G.
“I have known Cia and her family for over five years. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. She watched my three dogs one is a crazy chihuahua who she did wonderful with. See makes the dogs her dogs that makes her a special person in my book. You would be lucky to have her look after your pets.”

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life and have taken care of them for at least ten years:) (feeding, walking, bathing, administering medications, all the love, playing and pets, etc) I’ve also cared for my very old and very sweet cat who struggled with some basic tasks as he became blind and incontinent up to his parting, and would do the same for any of my families animals! I’ve housesat for a family friend’s 2 cats, as well as for my sisters and former partners 3 cats a couple times, and my other sister’s dog(whom I boarded), bunny, and cat on a handful of occasions:) I also recently just hosted my sister and one of her cats for over a month and now have a space with no pets again:( so I’d be happy to host! I am temporarily unemployed due to layoff during the winter season, therefore I have plenty of free time to provide excellent and holistic care for your pets! Have good amount of indoor space and some shared outdoor yard with picnic table and some frisbee tossing space! There are plenty of nice places to walk around my neighborhood in Winooski, and there’s a dog park 10 mins in walking distance from my apartment!

14. Lexie R.
About: I grew up with pets in my house & grew up learning how to care for all pets. Making pets feel comfortable in a foreign area is something I pride myself on. I am a student at UVM & work part-time at the hospital. So I have plenty of time to hang out with your pups & take care of them when their parents are gone !! My apartment is VERY pet proof, and I live on a street that is great for short & long walks. There is also an unfenced area outside of my apartment for easy-access potty breaks.

“Joscelyn has been around animals her whole life, with an emphasis spent on dogs. She is aware of dog behaviors and their tendencies, and has experience with breeds of all types. She is compassionate, attentive, and treats all animals as though they were her family. She has personally walked, watched, and dog-sat my own dogs and I cannot speak highly enough of her. I am confident that she is able to care for all ages, breeds, sex, and temperaments. Joscelyn is active and enjoys the outdoors, often bringing dogs along for her adventures. I cannot think of a more qualified dog walker or sitter.”

Understanding unique needs of pets is important to me. I work at a brewery so I am available before and after shifts.
