About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life and have taken care of them for at least ten years:) (feeding, walking, bathing, administering medications, all the love, playing and pets, etc) I’ve also cared for my very old and very sweet cat who struggled with some basic tasks as he became blind and incontinent up to his parting, and would do the same for any of my families animals! I’ve housesat for a family friend’s 2 cats, as well as for my sisters and former partners 3 cats a couple times, and my other sister’s dog(whom I boarded), bunny, and cat on a handful of occasions:) I also recently just hosted my sister and one of her cats for over a month and now have a space with no pets again:( so I’d be happy to host! I am temporarily unemployed due to layoff during the winter season, therefore I have plenty of free time to provide excellent and holistic care for your pets! Have good amount of indoor space and some shared outdoor yard with picnic table and some frisbee tossing space! There are plenty of nice places to walk around my neighborhood in Winooski, and there’s a dog park 10 mins in walking distance from my apartment!
9. Janessa T.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs all my life. I have an 11 year old King Charles Cavalier that lives with my parents and I have about 5 years of dog sitting experience. I love all dogs and am surrounded by them almost daily! I am currently a college student who has a ton of free time. Apart from about 1-2 hours of class a day my schedule is pretty much free. I also have a roomate who has dogs of her own and is studying to be a vet and she is around to help out as well! I live on campus in an apartment styled living space. The campus is dog friendly and has a great nature path right next door along with a ton of open fields that make for great walks.
11. Danielle C.
“My first time using Rover and I pick the nicest person! My dog is usually anxious around strangers and I was worried but Danielle kept her nice and comfortable. And she sent me lots of updates, keeping me at ease and entertained while I was apart from my dog. Definitely will be using her services again in the future.”
12. Bre M.
“Bernie had a great day with Bre! He was well taken care of and we were updated multiple times throughout the day on all the fun he had. He came home very sleepy from a busy day!”

About: I grew up with pets in my house & grew up learning how to care for all pets. Making pets feel comfortable in a foreign area is something I pride myself on. I am a student at UVM & work part-time at the hospital. So I have plenty of time to hang out with your pups & take care of them when their parents are gone !! My apartment is VERY pet proof, and I live on a street that is great for short & long walks. There is also an unfenced area outside of my apartment for easy-access potty breaks.
14. Joscelyn S.
“Joscelyn has been around animals her whole life, with an emphasis spent on dogs. She is aware of dog behaviors and their tendencies, and has experience with breeds of all types. She is compassionate, attentive, and treats all animals as though they were her family. She has personally walked, watched, and dog-sat my own dogs and I cannot speak highly enough of her. I am confident that she is able to care for all ages, breeds, sex, and temperaments. Joscelyn is active and enjoys the outdoors, often bringing dogs along for her adventures. I cannot think of a more qualified dog walker or sitter.”
15. Lucy M.
“Lucy was great! She was patient with my dog upon introduction, as my doggo can be a bit timid and barky at first. Though, with her k9nd patience she wRmed her way up to Nikita. Her dpg and mine get along just great and Nikita comes home very happy”
16. Carly H.
“Carly is the sweetest! This was Ruby's second day with Carly and when she got out of the car her tail went crazy and she ran up the steps. Carly is so sweet with her and I feel great when Ruby is in her care. Thank you for being awesome!”

“I have an elderly beagle that Annie stops by to take care of and take out for walks. I know they Annie is super patient and that my older dog can take her time on her walks with Annie-it really makes me feel happy that she gets to spend some quiet calm time outside with Annie to watch over her and give her belly rubs.”
18. Una L.
About: I have cared for dogs my whole life, I have trained and cared for two family dogs growing up. Puppy training, dog-watching for friends and coworkers. Elder dog care, anxious dog care. Understanding unique needs of pets is important to me. I work at a brewery so I am available before and after shifts. My day usually starts later than 9am so I am available for lots of walking when you head out for work. I am also available anytime for boarding etc. We have a mostly fenced-in yard in a quiet neighborhood. I am cautious when meeting new pets and understand that every animal is different. I have two very respectful roommates who are happy to have pets in the house.
19. Bella P.
“Bella is very responsible and reliable, with years of experience living with and caring for her own pets as well as family and friends’ pets. She is very attentive and caring. Always having a family pet, she not only understands the details and responsibilities associated with caring for pets, she truly enjoys time spent with them.”
20. Nicholas M.
“Nicholas is not only a loyal and caring friend to all. He also has an extremely huge heart for dog friends. As his close friend, I can see how much he loves his own dog (who lives in his childhood home). Nicholas has a calming energy which gives the support you need after a long day. Anyone would be truly lucky to have him take care of their dogs.”
