“Grace was great! My (very active) dog came home every day happy and tired. My dog is usually a little skittish around strangers but warmed up to Grace from the beginning. Very caring and attentive caregiver and very flexible and friendly.”

About: I love pets, rescuing, fostering, pettsitting, you name it ive done it. I’m a college student living in rhode island for the school year and miss spending time with pets! Ive cared for puppies, senior pets, untrained, trained. I’m very familiar with the time and care that goes into taking care of pets. I am a college students, but most days i have only morning classes, or large gaps in my day where i can spend time with your pet. More details on my schedule depends on the day. I care for other’s companions with the same love and attention as i would care for my own. I love seeing companions happy and thriving. I’m willing and able to make adjustments to ensure your companion is comfortable in my home while theyre here!

18. Jack S.
About: Hi, my name is Jack, and I have had a passion for taking care of animals ever since I was a young kid. From the tiniest shy little kittens, to the energetic hounds I have now, I have always been able to cater to the needs of whatever each pet needs. During Highschool, I made an effort to consistently be involved with the pets in my community, specifically walking dogs in my neighborhood for my peers and also dog-sitting for close friends when they went out of town. I pride myself on my ability to keep things as easy for each owner as possible, while also providing a fun, safe environment for every pet involved. Being a sophomore at The University of Rhode Island, pet interaction is big on campus, with two dogs living in my Fraternity's house currently. Despite this, I have found myself missing the interactions I had with the pets in my neighborhood when I lived back home (Westchester, NY). I feel going back into dog walking and dog-sitting locally now is a good way to recapture that. I try to FaceTime with my dogs back home multiple times weekly, and consistently remind my brother of their schedule with eating (which I'm sure he loves). I am only taking four classes this semester, so my time can be focused mainly on whatever animal you intrust me with. I have always been good with my time management, especially when it comes to my furry friends. Pets respond best when you show them their time and needs is just as important as yours, and that is a comfortability I know I can provide. My dogs are almost too loved in my home, as with two parents and two brothers, we create an environment when attention is constantly given to them. Along with this, I make it a priority to have my pet's, and whatever pet I am taking care of that times schedule in my calendar at all times, so nothing is missed.

20. Vanessa N.
About: I have my own dogs at home that I have taken care of since I was 10 years old, so I have a lot of experience with taking care of dogs. This summer I watched my sorority house moms dog for two weeks over the summer, so I have experience taking care of other peoples pets! I'm currently a student at URI but have all morning classes and get out early. After class I go home and love to take walks. My neighborhood is perfect for walking dogs. I live right near the beach so walks by the beach, when the weather is nice would be great for your pet! I don't have a fenced in yard but love taking walks and have the perfect neighborhood for that, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. I also have a bigger house with lots of space for the dog to go and have 4 roommates who all loves dogs, so your dog will get plenty of attention.
