“Mackenzie was very responsive and was quick to make last minute arrangements while on our trip to New Orleans. We had an early check out at hotel and needed a place for a fur baby to stay while awaiting our late afternoon flight-- we dropped him off at at 12pm with anticipation to pick up around 3pm. Unfortunatley, our flight was delayed and she was very flexible in allowing us to grab him by 4:30 to help accomodate him and alleviate our anxiety regarding what we would do with a dog in the heat of New Orleans for a few hours. She took him on potty breaks, a walk, and her and her boyfriend provided lots of playtime and love till we got back. He was pooped on the flight home. I would highly recommend leaving Mackenzie with your animal, she was great!”

About: I have had a Catahoula, Afghans, Poodles, currently I have a English mix with terrier, but I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ how Booboo is with others. I am home mostly everyday RETIRED. Flexible and willing Will be in involved and alert to your pets needs. I will separate if need be. My yard is Big but i need to make sure they cannot get out thru gate My pet is 14 yrs old . I DONT know how she is with multi dogs 🐕 . I need to feel comfortable and I am sure you do to. Need some of their toys

About: When I was 7, I told my parents I wanted a dog. They said that I could get one when I turned 8, if I took care of the family dog (feeding, grooming, walking, poop-scooping) until then. From my first dog to my third, I have been in charge of all responsibilities, and each dog is better and better behaved. I have dealt with small dogs and large dogs, from Chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees. I do not discriminate based on breed as long as your pup is not aggressive towards me. I do not believe in physical reinforcement of commands and will not hit or kick your dog. As the owner of a dog with high anxiety, I know that some dogs need structure, reassurance, and a firm voice to get them through the day. If your dog has special needs, I am committed to making sure that their schedule is followed. Disclaimer: As a small person (5'2"), I am unable to walk extra-large dog breeds with aggression. I would hate for your dog to pull out of my grasp and get hurt or hurt someone else's baby.

About: Hi! I am a life-long Metairie resident with over 10 years of experience in animal care. I live in Metairie near Sam’s on Airline and have lived in the same home over 24 years. I have 3 dogs of my own, I work and go to school from home so I am home 95% of the time so your pup(s) won’t be left alone long. I do doggie daycare, doggie home visits at your home and doggie extended care in my home. I was a dog foster mom for over 6 years, including dogs in fostice, and have been a dog sitter for the last 5 1/2 years but have always loved and been around animals my whole life. I serve the New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, Harahan area and offer the following: 🐶 pet-sitting house calls 🐶 private boarding for dogs 🐶 pet transport to/from the groomer, veterinary or any other appointments, if needed while in my care. 🐾 I don’t use crates when I board dogs in my home (unless requested by the owner or if owner is doing crate training) 🐾Pups boarding with me stay in a calming home environment with pet accessible furniture, a huge backyard and a “dog room” where the dogs I sit for love to lounge in and watch Dog TV, which is music and calming videos designed for dogs, and play with the many dog puzzle games and toys I provide. 🐾I also provide beds and dog cots. 🐾All you need to provide is your pups food and feeding schedule, treats and any allergies or important information I need to know about your pup for them to have a relaxing, happy stay! I also have a lot of experience with senior dogs and dogs on medication. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meet & greet just send me a message. I will also happily provide references of other very happy current clients upon request. I’m currently working from home running a small personalized craft business and I set my own hours. I also go to school from home part time. I’m very flexible to watch your babies, day/nights/weekends. I have a very large fenced yard with plenty of space to run around and walk my pups at least 2ce a day. I also have a 15 year old son with Autism (highly functioning) who gives our own babies, Tinkerbell, Peanut Butter & Domino lots of hugs and kisses too so your pup will get plenty of love! I’m sorry I cannot watch German Shepherds or Pit Bulls because my son is petrified of those 2 breeds.
