About: I am very experienced with both dogs and cats. I have two cats now and I grew up with a dog my entire life. I have a connection with animals and I feel like they can always tell. The cat I adopted wouldn't go near anyone, the entire time she was at the shelter she just hid under a blanket. But I went up to her cage and she came right out to me and I knew I was going to have to keep her. Pets can feel if someone has the right energy and I think that is why they like me, they know I am a fun, loving and caring guy. I can take care of all dogs and cats, both young and old, I have experience with both. My sister in law works at an animal shelter and she has 4 cats and 2 dogs herself. I spend a lot of time there and am very connected to those pets as well, and that is where I get most of my experience from. I am in graduate school right now and trying to become a high school teacher and basketball coach. I am taking many summer classes but I am looking for a way to make some extra money to get through school. I wanted to do something I would really love and appreciate and I can't think of anything else I would rather do than spend my time with animals. All my classes are online so I have a lot of free time, especially on weekends. With my classes being online and all asynchronous courses my schedule is completely flexible. I can always move things around and make time if I have to which is why I thought this would be a perfect fit for me. I have two very loving cats at home. They know if a cat doesn't want to be around them and they keep their distance if that is the case (this is the experience we have with one of my sister in law's cats). But other than that they are very playful and loving. I have a nice backyard and a great trail in my neighborhood to walk on. I have plenty of toys in the house and treats as well. There is a lot of room for the animals to run around and have fun. I don't have any kids, it would either just be me or just my girlfriend and I. Making your pet feel safe would be my number one priority, I want them to feel comfortable in their time they spend with me.

“Sam is an absolute joy has a serious passion for taking care of pets. Yesterday was the first day we left our dog in over 3 months due to an injury he was recovering from. Sam could not have taken better care of our sweet boy. I was worried he would be sad that we were leaving him but he had the BEST day! He immediately took to Sam and the other sweet dogs that were staying the day. Sam sent me so many updates and pictures I felt so comfortable and happy he was there with her.
