About: I grew up with dogs and throughout those years I have cultivated a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs. Whether it’s feeding or providing companionship, I approach each furry friend with patience and care. My special skills include recognizing subtle signs of distress or illness and creating a safe & stimulating environment. I’m currently a nursing student with flexible hours and dedicated study breaks. During breaks between classes or study sessions, I relish the opportunity to engage in enriching activities with my pets, whether it's a leisurely walk in the park or a stimulating play session at home. This structured approach ensures that my pets receive the attention and care they deserve while also allowing me to balance my academic commitments effectively. In both my own home and my clients' residences, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for pets, despite currently not having a yard or pets of my own. Utilizing my experience with crate training and use, I ensure that pets have designated spaces where they feel secure and relaxed. Whether it's setting up cozy beds or providing ample toys for enrichment, I tailor each setup to suit the specific needs of the pets in my care. Additionally, I maintain open communication with pet owners to understand their preferences and any special requirements, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for both pets and their owners.

“We had Jess watch our dog while we were away for a weekend, and she was amazing. She walked and socialized our dog with her own to stimulate our lonely dog while we were away. We were given regular feeding and potty updates several times a day, with pictures of our pup as well. She's a gem, and we'd no doubt use her again.”

I have been on the receiving end of this service and was very blessed to find a wonderful pet sitter through Rover for my beloved pup while I traveled. She was so excited when I dropped her there and I knew they loved her as much as I did. As she aged, they took on the task of giving her pain medication and altered her exercise to accommodate her needs. It is wonderful to be able to trust that your pet is in good hands!! I am retired and enjoy filling my time with my love for animals. I will provide daily routines based on their needs. I enjoy the outdoors so daily walks are a treat for both myself and the pets I care for. Your pet will feel very much at home while they are in my care. I offer a service that provides quality time with your beloved pet, they will be safe and sound at all times.

“We were traveling and in town for the pumpkin fest, so needed a place for the dog for a few hours. Our dog was a bit nervous already from the new location, and wasn’t exactly excited to enter Slavas home. Slava took his time greeting my dog Bruce, and making him feel comfortable with treats and pets, even though Bruce could hear the other dogs barking in the back. After about 10 minutes of greeting Slava introduced bruce to the other dogs and they were all equally happy to see him, so I know Slava takes the same time to make each and every guest feel comfortable. When we returned a few hours later bruce was worn out from a day of playing! I highly recommend Slava as a professional dog sitter.”
