About Langdon

10 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Simply put, I love dogs! I have two of my own (Wally and Riley).
I have been watching dogs for over 10 years, both dog sitting and boarding dogs in my home..
My dogs have a variety of activities. We frequent the dog park, go on morning walks to the coffee shop, hit the beach in the summer as well as mountain bike and hike. In the Winter we ski.
I've found that having a small pack of calm dogs helps other dogs gently transition into our routine. Even problematic dogs have had positive experiences while in my care.
My work schedule is perfectly suited for dog care. I work in a restaurant. After a day of activities, as your pup is winding down, I am headed to work for only 4-5 hours and my roommate is home while I am at work. So your dog will get lots of attention.
I do have a 19 month old daughter and she is super sweet with dogs. Riley is her best friend. They often take naps together and they play together all day. If your dog is skittish around children I can only watch your dog Thursday through Sunday as my daughter will be with her mother.
I look forward to taking care of your canine companion. Please message with any questions.
Thanks,
Langdon

So happy to have found Langdon! I work long hours and am very grateful for Langdon's flexibility! And Loki seemed much more content when I came home the two days he spent with him. I feel confident in his care and 1000% expect to use his services the two days he spent with him. I feel confident in his care and 1000% expect to use his services again!

Langdon helped us out on short notice by watching our puppy, Layla! He was very quick to respond and accommodating. He sent a few great pics of their day together and gave me a full report at pick up. Layla is relaxed and worn out---the signs of a day together and gave me a full report at pick up. Layla is relaxed and worn out---the signs of a fun day playing with pups and Langdon. We will definitely be back!

I originally booked a 10 day stay for Arya on very short notice (less than 1 day) and Langdon was super accommodating, gave me a call within a few minutes of booking to work out the logistics of the stay.

When I dropped Arya off, I got a chance minutes of booking to work out the logistics of the stay.

When I dropped Arya off, I got a chance to meet Langdon's two dogs and they are both big cuties. Meeting two friendly, well-socialized pets was very reassuring and it seemed like a great environment for Arya to make some new friends.

During the stay, Langdon was very attentive to Arya's needs. He sent us frequent updates along with pictures of Arya during their walks. He was also very good about working with Arya when she wasn't behaving normally. Apparently, Arya gets skittish around little kids and when Langdon introduced his young daughter, Arya didn't know how to respond. Langdon was able to slowly acclimate Arya to the change without stressing her out.

Our trip was actually cut short by a few days so I ended up picking up Arya early. Again, Langdon was very accommodating and had Arya ready to go when we swung by to pick her up. After we got home, Arya napped for 4-5 hours straight. She's a super energetic dog and only naps when she's completely tuckered out, so I know she had a great time playing at Langdon's :).

Overall, it was a great trip, I wouldn't hesitate to leave Arya in Langdon's care again in the future!
