About Jacqui & Bella

30 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello everyone, its coming up to holiday season again. May is just around the corner. So if you have any tentative dates for that time, please reach out so we can pencil you in.

We are The Kimberlin family and we are located in Irving, close to the DFW Airport and 20 minutes away from Dallas Love Field. This location works really well for are frequent flyers who travel a lot for work.

That being said, we have a lot of frequent flyers. That means we have a lot of regulars so to make sure that all dogs are a good fit into are pack we ask you to please fill in all the relevant requested information before sending in a request for a Meet & Greet or general inquiry so as to better assist you in a timely manner.

We are a family of pet lovers, and have been for too many years to mention. My sister Helen was part of the DogVacay family in New York. We have two rescue dogs, Ms Maggie & Lilli Wonderful - who we never did find 'forever homes' for, due to falling in love with! Plus we have Mr Cat, and a very well behaved 2-legged daughter, Bella.

We are surrounded by lots of dog-fun places, such as parks and trails. We also have a 6ft fenced in back garden that no one is getting out of. Because we do have a grassy back garden and maybe multiple dogs at one time we would appreciate that all visiting dogs have monthly Flea & Tic Meds (this is Texas so you always have to treat your dogs).

Bella and I have regularly volunteered for local rescue groups where we have gained a wealth of knowledge with special needs, abandoned and abused dogs. Knowing what we know, we decided that it would be best not to take unaltered dogs into the Pack (but there is always exceptions to every rule - so please ask us about our rules)

The only problem with volunteering is we just end up falling in love with them and want to adopt them all! So sometimes if there are not to many dogs we may have a foster dog in our home. If you have some concerns about our foster dogs being in the home with yours please feel free to voice your concerns.

I don't think I can remember ever being without dogs and cats. They are a very important part of our lives and we love them dearly. Hence, we just want you to know that whenever your pets come to stay with us, they will become part of our family - receiving as many kisses, cuddles and treats (my own organic handmade treats, at that!), which we give to our own pets, and they love them. They don't know I sometimes put Kale in them;-). And if they don't know how to 'sit' on command for a treat, by the time Bella has finished with them, they will and they will join the rest of the pack waiting for their next treat. She is extremely patient and good at teaching young and old dogs new tricks.

Do your pets suffer from anxiety and/or being left alone issues? Not a problem. There is always someone for them to play with, sleep with, watch TV with them. and generally hang out with them. But if your pet just wants their own space, there is a place just for them in our home. They can even have their own TV if they want! We also have various size crates if that's what your pets feel safer in, other wise they hang out and sleep like part of the family in a cage free home.

We will update you as many times as you like - with photo's, we can send via text messaging, email, and we can even get them on Skype or Facetime for you if you are having withdrawal symptoms!

We always want to do a Meet & Greet with you and your pets in advance of any bookings so that we can all see how we get on, and you can feel safe in the knowledge that your pet will get the best care and attention - whether they come for a few days or longer. If you would like to do a trial run for a few hours before you leave your pup, that would work to. I can guarantee that they will fall in love with Bella, they all do! So when you return you will see just how comfortable they have become in our dog friendly home.

We know many of you that have small dogs will have fears about the big dogs around the house. We have a separate area for the small ones if this will make you feel more comfortable for your little pup. But after doing this for this long we find that most of the little dogs will end up running with the big dogs. But if not then they have the Bella area that they know is safe from the big dogs. If you have anymore questions about this please feel free to ask any questions before asking for a Meet & Greet.

Please note that if our calendar is marked as one spot left or fully booked, please send us a message asking if we can fit you in. We already know who fits in with the pack so there will always be exceptions to the rules to try and accommodate your pup.

Please ask us ahead of time about how we like to do our Meet & Greets. But also you can read all our reviews, they can not be bought...they are just very happy people. Sometimes we require a practice run for your pups to see how they do in an overnight situation without you. Even after that there are no guarantee's that the pup will be a good fit into our pack and home environment.....we have a great success rate, but we just can not always be 100%. If this matter arises then we will work closely with you to find the best fit for your pup...after all its all about the well being and safety of the pups.

We are flexible with our hours of business to accommodate your flight schedule, but there will be a surcharge for extreme times over what would be classed as normal 24 hour day. Please don't hesitate to ask about this charge.

Also with DogVacay we are covered by their Premium Insurance and 24hrs hotline, so you can rest assure that your dogs are in good hands at all time.

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We look forward to sharing our family with yours.

Jacqui and Bella have been taking care of our little goldendoodle for about a month now and we are so happy with their services. We get daily pictures of our puppy and our puppy absolutely loves Jacqui and Bella. They also work with our puppy on her training, which is a huge bonus. If you get the chance, you have to work with Jacqui and Bella, your pet will be in the best of care!

We love Jacqui and Bella. Im glad we sent Cookie to them. They provide quality care and tonnes of love for my pup. Cookie had a great time with all the furry guests at their home. It improved her socializing skills and she came home with better manners and are more well behaved. Im sure Cookie misses them and her furry friends so much... !!!
