About: Hi! My name is Alexis, I am 27 years old, and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up I helped my dad with training his rabbit dogs and attending to their needs while he was at work or etc. I am born and raised in Amherst, VA. I own my own townhouse in Madison Heights. Although, the area is not fenced in there is a nice big yard for your fur-baby to get plenty of exercise and exposure to the sun and fresh air!! There is sidewalks in the neighborhood that makes it easy for taking walks. I am here to care for your fur-baby as you would. I will pet, feed, walk, play, brush attend to your fur-baby's needs. You and your fur-baby will be happy with my services. I do work 40 hours a week from home which allows me to have more time at home to attend to your fur-baby. Your dog/cat will be able to roam freely in the house unless otherwise requested. I do not work weekends, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I can easily crate your dog as needed. All dogs are walked on leashes when we go for walks. I respect your wishes in my home and your home.

“Jané did a wonderful job looking after our Australian Shepherd. She was a great communicator and sent multiple doggie updates a day including photographs. Her house has a big backyard that's fully fenced in so there's plenty of room for dogs to run safely. She also took our dog on multiple walks a day. You can tell Jané sincerely cares about animals and she's great at caring for them. I look forward to boarding with her again!”

She will begin pursuing a doctorate in Occupational Therapy summer 2024. That information gives you an idea of her responsibility and judgement, along with being the vice president of risk in her sorority and the captain of the dance team. She is also a student athlete equestrian. Her love of animals is from a lifetime of practically living at the barn. She has been independently taking care of animals large and small since she was five. She is wonderful and loving with animals; she also executes outstanding judgement in emergency situations. She is a trustworthy employee and I would trust her to take care of anyone's pet.”

“This was my first time leaving my pup with anyone other than my parents. I moved out of state and no longer have them for trips to watch my boy. I was so nervous leaving him but once I met Jennifer, Toasty (her Pekingese) and two children I knew he was going to have a great time. As soon as we walked in for the meet and greet he was already playing and having fun. He came back to me his normal happy self after a week. He loved his stay and I had total peace of mind. She even sent him home with a goody bag which was really sweet. We are so thankful for Jennifer.”
