About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life. We always had a dog when I was growing up, and my fiancé (who lives out of town) has a dog that I love spending time with and taking care of. I am a dental student at UTHSC, so I don’t have an income, but I have the dedication to take care of your best friends when you need some help! I am currently a dental student at UTHSC. I typically am in clinic from 8-5, but I make my own schedule and take a lunch break. I love to take afternoon walks, so I can ensure that your furry baby gets some well deserved movement in each day. I have a fenced yard that is perfect for getting out all the zoomies. My roommate does have a cat, but as long as your dog gets along with cats, there will be no issues. If your dog is house trained, I have no problem letting them roam free in the house while I’m at school or having to run an errand. I also come home on my lunch break so they will get a mid day walk/potty break at least. Some days I am able to be home for longer and will be able to let them out multiple times. I also have a firm belief that all dogs are lap dogs and deserve all the snuggles🐶

“Our 15 pound JoeJoe is never friendly with any animals/humans (except his owners)! When we dropped off JJ, Mario and JoeJoe were immediately friends. In addition, when we picked up JJ 4 days later, both JoeJoe and another dog who Mario was sitting were interacting and playing together. Mario texted updates with pictures of JJ while we were gone. At pickup, JJ had been nicely bathed with his nails clipped. Mario’s knowledge and experience clearly shows…he is the best!”

“Matthew did a great job watching my great Dane as I was traveling through Memphis. My dog can be anxious at times and has separation anxiety usually in new places but I don't think he had a problem at all and had a blast with Matthew and other dogs on his stay. Would definitely recommend Matthew for your dogs stay as I felt 100% confident that my pup was in great hands!”
