About: My family has always had pets since I was a child. I’ve always had pets as an adult. My children have carried on and they have always had pets. Animals have always seemed to like me. I’m retired with my husband and we are home most of the time. We occasionally go out to dinner together. We like to take short day trips. If your pet has a crate that they can go into that would be great. We have “pet condos” for our dogs at night so we don’t have accidents. If they need to go out at night we wake up and take them out. We have an electronic fence for out dogs. If you have a collar for the fence that would work here. We have a schedule that the dogs anticipate what we do. Breakfast on the deck in the morning then downstairs and din the yard for some exercise then if it is warm outside they can go in and out on their own. My dogs get little treat during the day for being good, nothing too caloric or fancy. Sometimes carrots and sometimes dried yams.

“If I could give Stefanie more than 5 stars, I would! I was tempted to cancel a trip to Myrtle Beach due to my hesitation to board my corgi puppy. However, when I saw her positive reviews, I decided to reach out. It was super last minute, and I expected her to say no — but she said yes, and I’m very glad she did! Her home is basically made for pet sitting. She has designated rooms specifically to keep them separate in case your dog doesn’t get along with her pets (though this didn’t seem to be a problem at all; when I dropped Wilbur off, he was happily playing with them.) She and her husband were very welcoming, and made me feel much better about leaving my little one. She also sent many pictures throughout the trip — he looked happy in every one! To be honest, I was afraid Wilbur would refuse to leave at the end of the trip — she even had special homemade nutrient-packed treats! I would absolutely recommend Stefanie to anyone needing a dog sitter, and I also will definitely be contacting her again if I am ever in need of one in the Myrtle area.”
