Hard being away from your babies, but when I saw how my dogs just loved her and such good care it truly eased my mind. I definitely would like for her to care again for them during my future trips. “Dirk went above and beyond to take great care of my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Flicker. At the meet and greet, Dirk created a calm, safe, and fun environment for Flicker to get to know the peaceful, fully fenced-in backyard where he'd be playing outside as well as the other sweet pups who would be there during his weekend stay. Flicker got lots of personal attention and care during his stay at Dirk's, and I saw that Flicker was very happy and well looked-after through regular pictures and messages. Dirk was very organized and brought Flicker and all his things out to me at the pickup time-- clearly a pro! We hope Flicker will stay here again soon. :)”

She allowed him to sleep with her and snuggle on the sofa. “I was super nervous about about leaving our dog as he had never been away from us for more than a couple days at a time but they were amazing with him! They sent lots of pictures and responded promptly when asked how he was doing. He got to spend lots of time outside which he loves and they even gave him a bath before he was returned to us. About: My family had cats and dogs when I was growing up, and in adulthood I have continued that. I currently have a chocolate lab and cat that adopted me. She was a stray, that decided that I was her person. Your pet will be treated like part of my family. I work from home during the day, so I'm available to tend to daytime pet needs. I'm home most evenings, but do sometimes go out. I tend to be more active on the weekends, but always make sure that my own pets are cared for, so yours would be too! My dog is on a twice-a-day feeding schedule, but since I work from home, I'm flexible with feeding schedules. When I leave, my dog is crate trained, and I would prefer the same for any dogs that I board.
