“Highly recommend Chuck! He took such good care of my Guinness! She isn’t great with strangers and can get aggressive but Chuck took it slow and let her get used to him. I think she felt comfortable and safe there. Had to cut stay short due to a family illness and Chuck was very kind and understanding. Will definitely book again! Thank you!”

“This was my first time leaving my fur baby,I was nervous, sad and anxious. I just wanted him to make friends but also be safely cared for. MELISSA WAS VERY CONVINCING THAT SHE WAS A AWESOME CHOICE. She assured me and all my worries were over by the middle of the day before he was to be dropped off to her place of care. Pictures were sent throughout the day. About: In addition to my own family dog growing up, I've taken care of my own two dogs for five years! Living in Port Jefferson has only increased my appreciation for neighborhood pups - it is an instant mood boost to see other dogs out and about. After an incredible year of receiving care from Rover ourselves, we are opening our home to take the best weekend care of your pup while you are away! I am an extremely organized person, ready for the details to best take care of your furball. -(Danielle, with help from partner Zach) On weekends, my partner and I are home all day to provide the best care and exercise for your pup! We walk our own dogs every 2-3 hours, and can adjust to the schedule that your pup needs for exercise and feeding. Additional availability during the week especially over winter break! With two friendly dogs of our own, we NEVER leave the dogs unattended. One or both of us will be present at all times. Dogs are happily allowed on furniture, but there are plenty of soft dog beds available for snoozing as well.

“You guys Do Not have enough stars to rate Kathryn, she and her husband took such good care of Bailey during the 18 days he stayed with them. When I came back from my vacations Kathryn cried when she said good bye to him. That was very sad but at the same time makes me realize the kind of person she is. I will never leave my dog with anybody else period. Actually I’m going on vacation again in February and I hope she will be available then. Kathryn has two wonderful dogs of her own and they took my dog as another brother and I don’t think he had time to remember he wasn’t in his home. “Where to begin? As a first time dog owner it was extremely hard to leave our amazing Moxy with just anyone until now. Heather not only treats Moxy as her own but she understands our love for her as well. Her flexibility is incredible and makes it easier to drop her off at a time that is best for Moxy. It is also heartwarming to receive pictures and messages while we have to be separated from her. I honestly will always book with Heather because her family becomes Moxy’s second family!”

About: I've been in love with animals since before I could walk. My family has had dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, frogs, birds, etc. since before I was born. By the time I was 9 I persuaded my parents to let me get my first cat. I've been responsible for big and small dogs, sick cats, feral cats and more. I've taken puppys to puppy school. I'm no stranger to the vet. Theres not much I wouldnt do for these furry critters. I work remotely for my main job and I am not required to sit in front of a computer so I can go walk dogs, make home visits or pet sit at my home! I am only working outside the home 3 - 5 hour shifts a week! My yard is fenced in. I have cameras on the house and friendly neighbors just incase. I do have a spare room the animal can stay in if need be. I also have a cage big enough to fit anyone that needs it. Windows and doors stay locked at all times. There are also water bowls all over the home as well as toys.

“Donna was very sweet and accommodating for our puppy Luna! As Luna is a puppy Donna worked with us to make sure she was still on her schedule during her stay. We had constant updates, pictures and videos which put us at ease being away from our puppy. Thank you Donna!”

“Upon arriving at Toni's I was greeted with tons of attention a 2 friends. The kids are so fun and they love dogs so much. Their back yard has a really nice fence with no gaps, so I was pretty excited that he would get to play in the yard. It was hard for me to leave him, but I was glad to have a little vacation. I asked for a food recommendation and they suggested Maureen's Kitchen. It was heavenly. 5 star experience!”

“This was my first time using the app and I was a little apprehensive after some bad experiences on other sites. In a pinch, I found Gina, readily available on a holiday wknd. I had many questions given my prior experiences and she was super understanding, responsive and very familiar with high-energy, large puppies. As soon as I dropped my baby, he fell right into place! I was updated at least once a day with a lovely photo of his well-being. I could tell his was in great hands. Not only was he happy but so active that Gina volunteered to bath him before pick up. I was away for the wknd during the inclement weather and my travel plans changed and Gina was super accommodating. Nash had such a good time, I didn’t think he wanted to come home! They even taught him a few tricks. He was so pooped when we got home he fell asleep for hours!!! That’s how we like it. Thank you Gina and Dan for the prompt updates, extended playtime and wonderful care. Nash was happy and even a bit more socialized after pick up; that is saying a lot. Would highly recommend Gina to any caregiver looking for a place to bring to their four-legged family members.”
