“John and Susan were absolutely amazing. my dog Pearl has been with us for five years and we’ve never boarded her out and we’ve never brought her to a doggy daycare or anything like that. I knew I didn’t want to bring my dog to a place that keeps her crated or in a kennel type situation. John and Susan treated Perl the exact way we treat her 💤🛌 sleeping in our bed, sleeping or in our lap, loving us, kissing us, going for walks, cuddle time spoiling her with treats. “I found myself twice in two weeks needing a pet sitter, and with all the craziness of having to uproot myself and the cats, I found Abigail. Her and her husband welcomed my cats with open arms, giving me a tour of their home and some reassurance that my pets were in a good spot. I could see that they themselves were good pet owners, and that the burden of worrying my cats’ well being would not be an issue for the needed time frame. In the midst of their stay, some appointments were missed with an exterminator scheduled to service apartments in My area having called out sick. I considered myself quite lucky to be able to get an extended stay for my cats - 2 days in fact, with no lead time! Abigail sent photos and updates on my cats, did all they could to accommodate two very anxious indoor cats. This is why I highly recommend her to sit your pets. I sent my cats to a very animal-friendly owner who not only provided a place to stay, but checked on them when needed! Thank you both!”

About: Trained and handled 26 sled dogs for an expedition outfitter in Alaska. Combined 50 year experienced dog owners with a large wooded yard for on and off leash time. We are outdoor oriented so your dog will have plenty of outdoor time. We work independently from home and have a flexible schedule. We can host with short notice and have the ability to integrate your dog in our daily life easily. We will include your dog into our family as we care for our own 11 year old small dog. We love hosting on our small off grid homestead!
