9. Cassandra L.
About: I have always been an animal lover. I spent six years working with animals full time in pet grooming salons and dog daycares, providing overnight care for our dog clients in my home, housesitting in their homes, and making mid-day visits for walks. I have experience with all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and needs. My current job is not related to animals, but I work from my laptop and have flexible hours. In my free time I love learn and practice dog training with my own dog. **I love dogs and cats, but I also have a wide variety of experience with small pets and livestock of all sizes!** Whether housesitting in your home or hosting your dog in my home, my schedule allows me to be with your pet close to 24/7, which is great for puppies, elderly pets, pets with separation anxiety, and the pet who is used to being spoiled. I offer dog boarding and dog daycare in my home, located in McKinleyville on 1.5 acres. We also share our property with my eight month old Boston Terrier, a dog savvy indoor/outdoor cat, and free range chickens. For boarding and daycare, a quick meet-and-greet is required before hand. Dog guests are typically kept on leash until I know they can be trusted to not chase the chickens, but we can still enjoy the yard in the mornings and evenings when the chickens are sleeping. I am available for visits to your home of any length while you're away, whether that is for an hour during the day while you're at work or social events, or extended stays while you're out of town. My well behaved eight month old Boston Terrier who is available daytime visits if your pet would enjoy her company. For overnight housesitting, a meet-and-greet is required before hand as she would be joining in your home. I also have special experience with elderly dog care, dogs with mobility issues, giving medication, puppies, dog training and maintaining good habits, grooming, cats, and grooming cats! Did I miss something? Just ask! My day job is full time, remote, and very flexible, so whether your pet is in my home and I am in your home, I will be keeping them company. Other than a couple of evening dog training classes, I don't have many away from home obligations that would leave your pet or home unattended. In the rare times I need to leave my home or yours during our time together, dogs are welcome to join me in the car, weather permitting, or can be kennel in my home or yours, follow your usual routine, etc. I am used to and love the constant companionship of pets. I have a lot of experience managing dog's needs in and out of the house. If you have specific routines, rules, and exercise plans you follow with your pet, I will happily follow them. I will treat your pet like they are my own when they are in my care, and to me that means making them feel safe and loved.

12. Max K.
“I’ve known Max for years and it’s been a huge relief having someone of her quality in my world. She is reliable, professional, kind and absolutely incredible with pets. I’ve had her watch my pets (two cats and one dog) multiple times so that I can go out of town for work. They love her and my animals are more on the timid side, I also have her babysit my 10-year-old daughter because she is trustworthy, considerate and extremely competent. Max grew up with a lot of animals and is naturally very gifted with them. I would highly recommend her for pet, sitting, pet care, and honestly anything regarding your animals!”

19. Sonja B.
“What a great experience! We have an 8 month old, high energy Labrador that is my husbands baby! Not so much mine, so when he has to leave her with me I panic. Trying to care for an 80 yr old frail mother and watch her is more than I can handle. Found Rover.com and Sonja and what a relief. She loved her like family, lots of room to run on the mountain. Sonja took her to the beach with her playful dog twice…wore her out! Yay! Sent lots of photos, some videos and kept in good contact. Picked Baylee up and she slept the 2 1/2 drive home! Will be coming back. Thank you Sonja!”
20. Gaby A.
“Gaby took wonderful care of my two dogs! She is very trustworthy and truly cares about dogs. She made sure to give them lots of snuggles and she did a great job!”
