“What a great experience! We have an 8 month old, high energy Labrador that is my husbands baby! Not so much mine, so when he has to leave her with me I panic. Trying to care for an 80 yr old frail mother and watch her is more than I can handle. Found Rover.com and Sonja and what a relief. She loved her like family, lots of room to run on the mountain. Sonja took her to the beach with her playful dog twice…wore her out! Yay! Sent lots of photos, some videos and kept in good contact. Picked Baylee up and she slept the 2 1/2 drive home! He takes lots of walks and lets dogs have just enough freedom to have a great time without getting in trouble. “Karen cared for my 2 year old Golden while I was away for the weekend and was awesome! I typically board her, but boarding was full for the holiday weekend so turned to Rover. This was an overall excellent experience. She responded quickly, was communicative, friendly, and I felt safe leaving my girl in her care. She even sent me pictures of my girl and what she was up to when I was away. Karen was flexible around pick up and drop off times and felt she was trustworthy and professional. Would definitely send my girl to be watched by her in the future.”

About: I have 1 dog and 2 cats. I work in Arcata M-f 8-4 with open weekend availability. My husband will watch our furbabies while I give yours my undivided attention! I am well versed in medication and dietary restrictions as my dogs have had a variety of allergy related problems I've had to solve and also am good with leash training as my younger dog is very excitable and too happy (strong) so he has had to learn some leash manners. I look forward to hearing from you and your pets! Weekend availability unless it is the holidays and then I am typically available all the time as we rarely travel and often get work off. Fenced yard with friendly cats and dog, reliable transportation to your home, I also have lots of knowledge in exotic pets and birds as well.
