1. Arianna Z.
“Ariana is wonderful! She took care of my pup Luna for a long weekend and it felt so good to know Luna was in good care! She is a great communicator and sent lots of pics and updates. Arianas home is well set up with a large gated outdoor space. Luna loved her right away upon meeting her, which was great to see. I definitely hope to have Ariana sit Luna again in the future and highly recommend her to others looking for loving, responsible care for their pets.”
2. Bethiah R.
“Bethiah was great with our dogs! We received wonderful pictures of their adventures while she had them and they seemed very happy and relaxed when we picked them up. Would definitely recommend!”
3. Yu R.
“Yu was fabulous with our dog! She sent frequent pictures and videos, asked thoughtful questions, and always made sure to let us know she was safe and well cared for. We would definitely ask for her help again. A great caregiver!”
4. Nancy K.
“Nancy and her husband were very sweet and loving to my 2 old doggies. They looked right at home and relaxed. Our trip was not stresses knowing they were well taken care of.”
5. Jenna S.
“Jenna was wonderful! she took great care of our baby and we were thrilled he got to spend a few days and nights with her great kids. Very easy to communicate with. Great experience overall.”
6. Sean A.
“Sean was very responsive and was a pleasure to work with. He took great care of my yellow lab, who was delightfully tired from a fun weekend when I picked her up. I would definitely book with Sean again.”
7. Michael F.
“Mike & Patti are great. Beckett loves being with them and their dog Scout. He runs to see them when I drop him off! They keep me informed with pictures and notes while he’s with them. I feel very comfortable leaving him because I know he’ll be treated with love and care while I’m gone. Thank you Mike & Patti”
8. Sinead M.
“Sinead was great! This was our dog Monty's first time with daycare on Rover, so we were very curious about how he would do. Sinead sent us a couple videos throughout the day, and in each one he was relaxed and playing well with her dogs. Monty was completely tuckered out when he came home, happy as could be! Sinead was able to accommodate his quirks and made sure he was as comfortable as possible.”
9. Denise D.
“Really happy with the daycare & overnight care my older, 15 lb dog received. Denise is great, my dog looked happy hanging out with her, plus she has veterinary experience, and we also like Jerry, Denise's husband. I received pics/video throughout the stay. I like that they limit the # of dogs in their care because my dog gets stressed when there are too many dogs. And they have a small dog named Quarky, so there's a canine buddy. At Quarky's my dog has the choice of indoor/ outdoor time but he LOVES being outside this time of year, and Denise provides a tall fenced yard, comfortable furniture, companionship, sun and shade. Who could ask for more?”
10. Camille & David S.
“Camille and David were great! They went above and beyond with Peaches, took her on multiple walks, and showed her lots of love. They clearly love animals. Will be definitely booking with them again!”
11. Nicole L.
“Nicole is amazing!! I hesitated to write my honest review because she was so great I don’t want everyone else to fill up her schedule and then I can’t rebook with her when I’m out of town again! I love how active Nicole is and takes my high energy pup on lots of walks and adventures (and supplies me with great photos too! ) She is a great communicator and my dog Krauss loved his stay with her and Zack! Already planning Krauss’s next stay with her!”
12. Erika & Kevin K.
“THE. BEST. CARE. Erika and Kevin watched my sweet cockapoo Gus for a 5 nights. He had so much fun. They have very nice house with a fenced yard, but they also took Gus on lots of adventures. Beach time and plenty of walks. Gus really loved them; I got many photos of him snuggled up against Erika or Kevin. They had no problem giving him his medicine. And best part was that they were so communicative. I received lots of updates, photos and videos. I highly recommend them! And will gladly use them again whenever I'm in Santa Cruz!”
13. matthew-lowe26
“Matt watched our dogs when we went out of town and did an amazing job! He kept us updated, sent us pictures and loved on our babies a lot. We recommend Matt to anyone needing a baby sitter.”
14. Judith C.
“Judith was an amazing sitter for Otto! He stayed for the weekend and I felt very comfortable in knowing that Judith was taking care of him as an elderly dog. He was pampered and happy!”
15. Marlene S.
“Marlene took great care of our boxer while we went away on a family vacation for a week. Excellent communication and lots of daily pictures—which I really appreciated! Our Hazel seemed to be loved and cared for like one of their own! Would definitely book again and highly recommend.”

About: Since I was 10, I've been looking after pets, including those with special needs like amputees and medication needs. With my own beloved 10-year-old dog, I understand the value of love and care. I'm here to ensure every pet feels cherished and happy, just like my furry friend at home I have a very flexible schedule as a small business owner in Santa Cruz. I have my 4 year old 50% of the time who also loves and adores dogs as much as I do :) I have a fenced backyard with lots of space and I live two blocks from Leo’s dog park. My 10 year old puggle, Bagel is very friendly and not aggressive in any way. I like to bring him along with me if possible, to have a friend for your pup as well but he also has his own care taker if your dog does not do well with other dogs.
17. Alison K.
About: I've always been a dog lover, and was a dog sitter for a long time before getting my own dogs. I've had two 80+ pound dogs for over 14 years, both lived until they were almost 15! I have experience with training puppies all the way to senior dog care (diapers and all). I have a 1 story home with only 3 steps (but also have a ramp). Dogs are my spirit animal, I care for each as if they were my own. I'm a teacher and work 4 days a week. I am available Friday-Sunday for full time pet care, with additional days possible if there are school holidays. I have a fenced front yard and a 1-story home with only 3 steps up to the door (and have a ramp if needed to bypass steps). There are 2 other people who live in my home, a mid-40's male and a 7 year old child. Your dog will need to be comfortable and gentle with children and men in the home. I prefer dogs that are crate-trained, but may accommodate dogs that are not depending on their temperament. I also have a large backyard with trees, chickens, and lots of space to run and play! I love big dogs, the bigger the better! I am used to walking two 80+ lb dogs and can handle up to 2 dogs at a time.
18. Gianna F.
“Gianna did a fantastic job when she watched my dog Leo, for 16 nights. She took him on walks, to the beach, and played with him regularly. My dog got along well with hers, and they had a great time together. I was impressed by how considerate Gianna was about my dog's fear of the 4th of July fireworks. She provided him comfort and gave him his medication, making him feel safe during the challenging time. Gianna was also responsive and shared adorable photos whenever I checked in, reassuring me that my furry friend was in good hands. I highly recommend Gianna to anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. She truly went above and beyond to ensure my dog's happiness and well-being during his stay. It was wonderful to know he was basically on his own doggy vacation while we were on ours. :) Thank you so much Gianna!”
19. Julia K.
About: I have taken two of my dogs when they were puppies to beginner, intermediate and advanced training. Friends and family will always call me for a dog sitting/ exercise when they aren’t around. I have experienced chihuahua mix to big huskies. I feel so comfortable and loved by these doggies. I have had many different breeds in my life and can’t wait to see more. I’m working part-time and am pretty flexible with my schedule. I can walk the dogs and do check ins any time as long as I have a bit of notice. I have a fenced in yard with a doggy door and a friendly medium size straffordshire terrier that loves bigger dogs. However, if you’d like to have your dogs separate I have plenty of room in the yard and house to accommodate them. I have a large kennel and toys if needed.
20. Aaron B.
“Aaron is a natural at pet care, having had pets--both dogs and cats--from Day 1 of his life. He is a playful and thoughtful guy, with lots of informal experience in dog obedience training. Responsible, friendly, and communicative, Aaron can be expected to provide excellent minding and walking for your pet when you are not available and to give you reliable feedback on any concerns.”
