I’d love to be your dog’s friend while you’re away! I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and been the sole caretaker of pets for about 15 years. I quit my corporate job about 3 years ago to work in animal rescue/animal care. I currently have 4 dogs of my own (I know, it’s nuts)who each come with their own issues and a cat. Because of this, I’m currently not available for overnight care. Two of my dogs are a mama dog (with severe anxiety) and one of her puppies (a crazy puppy) who was actually born and raised in our basement with her litter—then they just stayed. My other two are a dog reactive, large breed 14 year-old and a 7 year-old basset mix with multiple medical issues. So, in summary, I’m very experienced with animals of all ages/needs and in administering medications and subcutaneous injections if needed, as well as caring for sick, elderly or injured animals.
