Welcome to Dietz Dog Sitting!
As pet owners, we KNOW how hard it is to leave your fur child while traveling. My husband and I are the ones who suffer from separation anxiety when we have to travel, or leave our dogs for a day. That is why are are beginning our journey of pet sitting, to help make stressful travel easier for both you and your pet.
Greg and I have been avid lovers of animals since we were young. I grew up around many cats, dogs, horses, and even chickens and ducks. As a teen, I would often pet sit for family friends at their homes. Greg and I bought our first house this year, so we would like to bring the pet sitting home!
We share our home with two Labradors, Emma and Shania, and a senior cat, Ashley. We live in a ranch on nearly half an acre with a fully fenced in backyard. Our dogs LOVE running laps around our backyard, and I'm sure your dog(s) will too! Our home is located in Springfield Township and has a combination of carpeting, wood, and tile flooring with only six steps from our back porch to our back yard.
I graduated from Kent State University and I work full time locally, 8-6 Mon-Fri. My Husband served four years in the Marine Corp and is currently aspiring to create a career working from home. Because of our schedules, either him or myself will ALWAYS be home with the dogs and able to send you updates and/or pictures. We do not have any restrictions regarding animals on furniture (Shania is sitting on my lap as I type this), however, if you would like us to follow specific guidelines for your dogs, we would be more than willing to abide.
As mentioned earlier, I have an elderly cat. Ashley is very good about holding her own around excited dogs, however we ask if your dog is aggressive towards small animals, please continue your search for a willing sitter. Ashley does have a gated room she can retreat to if needed, but I will not put any of my animals in harms way. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!
