I live in a single story home with a fully fenced-in back yard with no pool, in a suburban neighborhood. I work from home, so I'm home most of the day. For me, and any dogs I am watching, a normal day consists of waking up to breakfast followed by a 15min. walk or play outside. While I'm working, dogs have free roam of the house (bathroom doors stay shut) and backyard with plenty of toys available. After I eat lunch, I will play with dogs 5 to 10mins. then I'm back to working. Around 5pm, dogs go on their night walk. Second feeding is given when my husband & I eat dinner. After dinner dogs go outside in the backyard for 10mins to play & use the bathroom. I will give 1 more bathroom break right before bedtime. (Throughout the day, I will take dogs outside & verbally prompt them to use the bathroom every 3 to 4 hours. After using the bathroom, I give treats as a positive reinforcement. In the occasion I am away I never am gone more than 4hrs.
When I'm away from home or not directly supervising a dog, there will be no food available or general hazzards. My dog was a very curious puppy, so I have thoroughly doggie proofed my home & backyard. I will never leave your pet outside unattended.
My schedule is very flexible & I am willing to accommodate any schedule your dog may be used to. My goal is to provide a safe & comfortable environment for your dog with care that would remind them of being at home, all while giving you peace of mind.
