Experienced Enthusiastic Dog Sitter
Pet care experience
My name is Amanda. I have about 7 years of dog sitting experience as well as taking care of my own pets throughout life. I began dog sitting while stationed in Germany. During holidays I watched between 4-8 dogs at a time. With that being said, I am very patient and understanding with dogs when it comes to their temperaments, potty training levels, medical needs, separation issues, leash skills, ect. I have cared for elderly dogs, epileptic dogs, physically aggressive dogs, and of course overly energetic dogs. I understand that while owners are away, pets just aren't their selves. Being without their familiar family is very stressful. I dedicate my time to these pets while their owners are away to make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible. I do that by following their normal routine and of course by giving them as much attention as they like. I am able to provide references upon request and definitely require an initial meet and greet before the pets visit to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable with the environment and visit. I can accommodate your pets needs, any special diet plans, and medication needed regardless of our schedule. I will provide an open communication line including pictures, Skype video chats while in your home with your pets, and daily journal entries about your pets activities, behaviors, ect. If you feel that I may fit your requirements please feel free to contact me either through email or phone. Looking forward to hearing from you!

We always appreciate you taking great care of our difficult girl. Thanks Amanda! I'm so glad she's opening up and had a good stay!
Amanda was fantastic. She watched my dog for two weeks and frequently gave me updates and photos. She was flexible with arranging drop off/pick up times and scheduled a meet&greet prior to the sitting. Amanda also asked about preferences (ie. Human food for snacks, being on furniture, sleeping in kennel etc) Definitely recommend her!
Amanda was awesome! She gave me updates on how diesel was doing and sent me pictures without me even having to ask. When diesel came home he was happy to see us, but showed no signs of stress or resentment. We could tell he really had fun with Amanda, her family, and her dogs. It was a like a vacation for him too! I definitely recommend having Amanda take care of your fur babies(:

Information Amanda S. would like to know about your pet
I need to know that your pet is regularly seen by a veterinarian. I do require an emergency contact and veterinarian contact in case of an emergency. I also need to know that your pet is up to date on shots, potty-trained, crate trained if need be, as well as any quirks about their personalities such as separation anxiety or nervous around children. I respect when the client is honest and up front about their pet so that I know what to expect and how to react to certain situations that may arise.
A typical day
Depending on the clients demands I do allow pets to sleep where they please. I treat the clients pets as if they were my own which means they get spoiled with lots of attention, treats, and free roam in my home and fenced in backyard. I will provide pictures and an open communication line through the pets stay with the owner. I dedicate myself to your pets while you are away to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy in their home. I will provide them with exercise, play time, treats, and of course their regular feeding times. I am able to administer medication and have experience with elderly, epileptic, separation anxiety, aggressive, and overly-energetic pets. I do require an initial meet and greet to ensure that my services will allow your pets to live a stress free life while their owners are away.
