We specialize in boarding small breed dogs under 20 lbs. That way, you can rest assured that your little guys won’t get trampled by a well-meaning, but giant Saint Bernard!
We provide a cozy home where dogs can play with toys, chase around the sofas or just lounge around and enjoy tummy rubs. The dog door leads to our big back yard where dogs can chase balls or squirrels or just take care of “business.”
Each evening, everyone snuggles on the sofas to watch tv and enjoy more tummy rubs. Dogs are welcome sleep in bed with us too. (Yeah, we love ‘em a lot ;)
Crates are only used at mealtime to prevent a possible ruckus over food – or maybe for the occasional “time-out” if someone is pestering another dog a bit too much. Otherwise, we love to let our furry friends roam around wherever they like.
For those escape artists out there (you know who you are ;) we have a secure 6-foot fence that is reinforced with bricks at the base to prevent digging. Every door and gate is double-protected with an extra gate to avoid inadvertent escape routes.
Dog boarding is my full-time career, so you can be sure that your dog’s safety and happiness is my #1 priority. We provide 24/7 supervision for your loved ones.
While you’re away, you’ll receive daily report cards via email to keep you informed and worry-free. Also, you can call, text or email me at any time if you’re just wondering what your little guys are up to. As a dog owner myself, I understand how much we owners worry about our pups when they are in someone else’s care – especially someone new.
We’ve been boarding dogs in our home for over 3 years -- 7 days per week, 365 days per year. We have long-standing relationships with the local veterinary community and utilize their advice for health-related issues. I also study dog psychology and training which is very useful in creating a safe, secure, fun and social atmosphere for the little ones who visit us.
We have 2 dogs, Tashi, 15, a Terrier mix, and Tucker, 14, a Chihuahua. Tashi loves to greet each new dog and play around the best she can, while Tucker prefers to snuggle on the sofa with any dog who will let him ;) Both Tashi and Tucker seem like they have a new lease on life since we started dog boarding -- every day is new and stimulating for them.
