About Dawn

22 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I have had dogs in my life since I was born (40+ years). I've had and cared for big dogs and little dogs and cats as an adult. I've fostered sick and injured dogs. I've worked with my dog as a therapy dog team with kids with Autism and other disabilities. I've had a dog walking / pet sitting business for about two years now and it's insured and bonded, I'm certified in pet first aid & cpr and I'll send you pics and updates at least once a day if you like. I can also send you gps records of the walks we take.
At our house we have a dog door to a good size back yard with play structures and a sand box for the dogs. Our dogs love it!
My husband and I both primarily work from home. I leave for a couple of hours midday to walk dogs. He has students come to his basement music studio for lessons or goes out to teach a couple/few hours throughout the day. So someone's usually home most of the day. We have my step kids a couple days a week and they are between six and twelve years old and quite used to dogs.
We have a canoe and live by the river so sometimes we take our dogs canoeing (with life jackets on them of course) If it's nice out and you think they'd like to they might even come along.

Dawn watched our fur children over the weekend and was phenomenal! She went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did she give them lots of love and exercise, but she also used some training techniques to get them not to pull on walks. You can tell she really understands dogs and their needs! We also got updates with pictures every day we were gone. Dawn is great!
