My parents met and married after Veterinary School, and started an animal clinic in our town where I grew up. My sister and, from when we were babies, grew up around all kinds of animals; cats, dogs, birds, fish, rodents, reptiles, and more. My mother is also the staff vet for a North American wild animal zoo nearby. Growing up, we had a small zoo ourselves at home:) Pets were like my siblings, and we loved them - we were all responsible for taking care of them. I haven't gone very long as an adult without animals nearby, even while traveling often. Because I travel quite a bit with work, so I am not available full time to have a dog of my own - which is why I am SO excited to watch yours!!
