I have Lots professional experience with all kinds of Animals from Dogs of all ages and sizes- All with Birds, to wild hawks, even some small monkeys and foxes!. I Have volunteered for the Zoo and worked at wild life centers., folk peterson which is now closed and bush wildlife. Besides having two adopted dogs, I have a blue and gold macaw that i have raise from an egg. I also have had a few small pets, like most people, some Hamsters, a Ferret, and a few small birds.
The two dogs I have are adopted from Big dog Ranch. the oldest dog we had was 18 years old a mini poodle . I do cut my dogs nails and give weekly baths and haircuts with a shaver. Even attempt to brush their teeth but they hate that!.. I have experience with dogs that are object aggressive as my dog Loki is with a lot of non food items. With grooming I would not say i am an expert at it.
I am starting Dog boarding as I am going to School for CSI at PBSC 3 classes at this time, and I like dogs, i would not mind adopting a german shepherd or Husky but don't have money for more pets! so this is way to enjoy more dogs while working at the same time. Before CSI I wanted to be a vet tech but I like CSI also and have decided to go for CSI.
My yard is fully fenced and 1.32 acres for dogs to fully run and exercise. Pets will be watched at all times when outside and never left outside by them self, the yard is treated for bugs but I still require all pets to be on flee medication as i can not be sure if someone else dog is 100% flee free.
I will only take up to 5 dogs or less at a time depending on size... so the dogs get more personal time and its less stressful for them unless they live together already. plus i have two dogs also. I try to only have 2 or 3 dogs at a time though, so each dog gets enough time. I do not like the idea of having my own dog at home being checked only 2-3 times a day, so this is why I board pets at my house, it is safer for the pet and they have company most of the time and all night.
I have a Large dog cage and a small dog cage if needed, Dogs will stay behind a gate in the Hallway if I'm not home or a cage if required by the owner only, sometimes I have to put a dog in a cage or separate room so they eat due to being in a new location, they want to play & play or are stressed out.
It is recommended to bring own Dog dishes and beds and if you have a cage so they feel safe
And a free luxury tee tree bath or other specialty shampoo will be used- with brushing and blow dry will be giving for one week bookings. included is some basic training, no extra charge.
I can do custom pricing depending on pet requirements. I can also board caged pets.. Birds of any Size, All caged pets require own cages and food.
Birds are from $5 to $15.. $15 would be cockatoo and macaw sized birds each + $5 per extra large bird.. For long term stays i can do a discount, i know it gets expensive
And if i am not home my mom will check in your Dog or checkout your dog, as I might be in school or doing CSI stuff somewhere. She also has 30+ years with dogs.
