About Tina

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi! I'm Tina.

So I founded this small dog walking and care agency. I work from home when not out dog walking and doing at home visits.

I have 20 years of experience training, fostering, rescue, rehab, owning, puppy care, medicating, and nursing. I've raised a number of local puppies into adult hood, and helped owners with ideas when facing obstacles or challenges with their pets. I am also very comfortable and experienced with very senior and elderly dogs. My apartment is a Ground Unit with just 3 steps down into the unit.

When it comes to our PupPad I offer routine, consistency, long leashed walks along the lake paths, and plenty of hanging out together in the apartment. As a general safety rule, I won't let them off the leash, or take them to dog parks/beaches. I'm happy to provide structured training and commands based on your language, gestures, and cues so that your pet gets the same consistency with us, as they do with you.

No ones pups are perfect--my little old man Vinci the sheltie will generally opt to keep to himself. Though you can see in the photos he hangs out with everyone very well. But we do ask that you let us know if there are any particular habits - like marking, teething, separation anxiety, etc so we can best support your dog while they are here. Additionally all dogs must be spayed or neutered if over the age of 8 months, and current on their vaccines. There is a cat here - Dante, who is not afraid of dogs, but will keep to his own routine. If your dog has aggressive/hunter attitudes towards cats, I am sorry to say we cannot host them in our home.

I do own a personal vehicle, and will consider pick up/drop off at an additional charge depending on the distance and hour.

We do have a couple crates for those of your furry friends who prefer the security of sleeping in one at night, and a couple dog beds, but by all means feel free to lend us any beds or toys that are special to your pup so they feel at home while staying with us here.

While your friend is here with us, I am more than happy to provide photos of their adventures and general overall cuteness, text messages with any updates you'd like, and overall ensure you feel confident that your furry friend is in good care.

Tina knows her dogs. I don't mean she likes dogs and knows how to take care of them. I mean she really knows how to command their attention, respect and get them on their best behavior. She definitely understands how to be a good canine leader all while showing them love and giving them tons of safe playtime.

She was able to accommodate our last minute sitting needs and I had full trust and confidence in her. I'd absolutely let Oscar stay with her again.

Tina is terrific! She is very well informed about dog behaviors and medical conditions including senior issues. She was comfortable helping our senior dog navigate our narrow wooden stairway. She kept me informed throughout the stay. I have total confidence in her and have already booked her for a return visit.

Tina is what every pet owner would like for their pets when they are away from home - a pet sitter who is not only very knowledgeable and experienced, but also truly cares about the pets!

On the day I had to go out of town, she came to my place timely, took care of my pets as we arranged, sent me messages right away to let me know, and even took a few pictures of the pets for me to give me peace of mind, since I have 3 elderly pets who are particularly vulnerable during the winter season!

When I came home late in the night, I found my 3 pets calm & content at home, even though my flight was a couple of hours late, and my pets tend to get anxious at their advanced age. I credit this to Tina's professional care for them during the day.

Choose Tina as your pet sitter - she is truly a blessing for pet owners who need someone to take good care of their pets while they are away. You will not regret it!

Tina is amazing! She instantly made my dog Felice feel at home. She even sent adorable photos of my pup relaxing. Felice will definitely be vacationing with Tina again!
Tina is incredible! She provides a safe, well structured and wonderful experience for our furry ones: long walks, belly rubs & companionship. Daily photos and updates help (humans) manage separation anxiety. She is knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior. Because she understands the dogs so well, she is able to manage several at a time. This is an added bonus for social dogs from single dog homes, like ours, who enjoy time with other dogs. She also kindly and firmly redirects less welcome behaviors, like begging, etc., and shares the solutions.
