My name is Jenae and I have been taking care of animals ever since I could walk. I have adopted an array of cats and dogs over my lifetime. My hope is to become a Veterinarian. I started working towards this goal before my high school career. I applied for the Veterinary Science program at my local high school, where I was trained in grooming, handling, and basic care of various species of animals. In my senior year, I held an internship at Oatland Island Wildlife Center to further my experience with animals. In August, I will attend Georgia Southern and begin my Pre-Veterinary studies.
