Hi! My husband Tom and I just lost our pup about a month ago and are craving some dog affection. We adopted Mitch from the animal shelter 11 years ago and he has been a special part of our lives. Having lived with dogs all of my life our house is feeling very empty right now but we aren't quite ready to adopt another dog just yet. However, we would love to watch your dog! We have a spacious back yard if your dog wants to play and are more than happy to provide your pet with walks and outings if he/she enjoys that type of thing (car rides). We are also happy to provide specialized care to your dog- including diet restrictions and medication administration.
We are more than comfortable providing care to all breeds, though have most experience with larger dogs. We ask that we only get one dog at a time, though are flexible if dogs are coming from the same family.
A typical day at our home would involve the morning feeding followed by a walk (at least 30 minutes long but maybe more depending upon your dog), relaxation or play time throughout the day in our back yard or a nearby open space, with two or three additional walks later in the day (with at least one of those walks being an additional 30 minutes). We would be happy to play fetch, frisbee, or any other games your dog enjoys.
Please don't hesitate to ask questions as we know you must feel comfortable with us in order to allow for us to care for your pet!
