I absolutely love animals and I want to make them apart of my everyday life. I am an actor, living and working in New York City. I finish my grad school program in June and I would like to slowly move out of the restaurant industry and into full-time pet care. Dogs and cats have been a part of my life ever since I was 8 years old and I feel empty with out them. I just recently rescued a kitty, his name is Misha and he is extremely friendly with everyone and everything he meets.
I helped raise two dogs in college, who now live in New Jersey with my ex-boyfriend (city life wasnt meant for these girls) and they are the reason I decided I want to help others with their pets. I learned a lot having a dog who suffered from separation anxiety and who was not socialized properly. I was immersed in research on how to train my dog and make her comfortable and happy in all aspects of her life. As I implemented my research I saw some amazing changes and decided that I want to specifically help people who love their animals but don't know how to give them the proper care and training. I feel that educating people on how to guide and train their dogs will massively reduce dogs who are given up to shelters.
I also know that living in New York means a crazy work schedule which means that you can't always get home during your lunch break to take your dog out or come play with your cat. I would love to be able to hang out with your pets while you are away so you can come home to a pup or kitty that is happy, relaxed and absolutely jazzed to see you walk through that door!
I have a strong passion for animals and I really hope I can make this my "day job" because aside from acting, I can't think of anything else I would want to do with my life.
