About Wendy

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Dogs have always been a major part of our life. Our dogs always come first. We would love to share our life with your best friend. We offer a cozy and quaint little home with 1/3 acre, fully fenced in yard in the beautiful Johnson Creek Watershed. Home to 2 small breed friendly and playful pups, who enjoy regular walks in the neighborhood, stops in 2 nearby parks as well as trips to the Sellwood Waterfront dog park and the Oregon coastline. We often take day trips to an assortment of outdoor dog friendly hikes.
**Dogs hosted must be completely non-aggressive, non-prey-type dogs as well as friendly with chickens, rabbits, goats and small dogs. Meet and Greet required for reservations.

Both resident humans have lifetime experience with many breeds of dogs, cats, small animals and livestock, including horses, goats, rabbits and chickens, so you can feel comfortable that your pup will be in capable, loving and dedicated hands while you are away. Wendy has over 20 years of experience with minor veterinary care, including first aid, pill and injection administration, and even goat birth! I am home most days to spend with your little buddies!

This was my first visit with Wendy. Cody had a great time at Wendy's. he got lots of exercise and gets along very good with her dogs. I felt very comfortable leaving Cody here. She sent pictures and kept in touch by texting me often.
Wendy is awesome and so easy to work with. She sent us photos and updates of all of the fun adventures she took the dogs on, including outings to the river, hikes, a romp in the snow, and even a trip to the beach! It really was a dog vacation! river, hikes, a romp in the snow, and even a trip to the beach! It really was a dog vacation!
When our big german shepherd was having anxiety, she was great about working with him and us to find ways to help alleviate it. It made our own vacation even better knowing our dog was in such great hands. I would definitely book with Wendy again and highly recommend her!

Our dog-boarding experience with Wendy was fantastic! A week before Christmas we decided to go out of town for the holidays. We contacted Wendy late in the evening and she responded within 5 min. She let us arrange a meet & greet the very next late in the evening and she responded within 5 min. She let us arrange a meet & greet the very next day. While we were away, Wendy took the dogs on daily trips to the dog park for hours of play. One day they even got to go hiking, play in the snow, AND go to the beach! Wendy is quick to respond to texts and sent us daily updates with adorable photos so we could see what the dogs were up to. Our golden retriever has very sensitive skin and Wendy was very accommodating of this, giving Molly baths after their outings. It can be stressful leaving your dog with a stranger, but with Wendy we didn't need to worry. We will definitely be contacting her for all our future dog-sitting needs.
