Cozy Doggy Retreat

Pet care experience

*update* We just moved to Foster City. Dogs and I have always shared a special connection my entire life. They’ve taught me many great lessons and have made me a better person! I love dogsitting so much and my family has the best time bonding with all my Rover dogs and their unique personalities. My priority when caring for your fur baby is creating a safe, comfortable, and happy space for everyone who walks through my door. My home is love and happiness…and clean! We have a beautiful, safe and private enclosed backyard for sunbathing. Our new neighborhood is so nice for walking dogs- open, clean, grassy areas, and safe! Over the years of hosting dogs, we’ve had the pleasure of witnessing extremely shy and anxious doggies come out of their shell by the end of their stay. If more than one dog is scheduled to be in my home, I take every precaution to ensure the personalities of each dog is a good fit before confirming the booking. The intention of this is for every dog staying here to benefit from the experience. It brings so much happiness to see our fur guests enjoying the company of each other during their stay. I grew up with dogs since childhood. I have a lot of experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with special needs. I promise when your dog is with us, there will be nothing but full attention and tons of love and cuddling. We used to have our senior dog, Biggie with us who loved to have company and meeting new friends, but after 18 beautiful years, it was his time to say good-bye. Although we aren’t ready to adopt another dog, we do miss having a dog to cuddle and play with. I am very good with following specific care instructions. You will receive pictures and updates everyday during your dog's stay. I understand how it feels to leave your dog when you have to go away. I've been through it too and it was never easy for me. I want you to feel at ease and confident that you can put your trust in me. I will follow any specific instructions for your pet (administering meds, walks around my safe neighborhood). We love when dogs sleep on our bed and they are always welcome on furniture. If you prefer they sleep in a crate, or separate, that’s fine too.

Liz is AMAZING! She took incredible care of your pups while we were away. She is absolutely lovely and truly loving to the dogs. They loved her and their time in her home while we were traveling. And Liz’s many updates and photos made us feel great throughout knowing the pups were in such good and capable hands!

Information Liz I. would like to know about your pet

- What is your dog's typical daily routine? (Wake up time, feeding schedule, bathroom schedule, anything familiar/structured to your dog’s routine) - Are there any items in the house that needs puppy proofing? (Bathroom trash, eating socks/pens etc,) - Is your doggy fully housetrained? Does he/she signal when needing to go out? - How much exercise does your dog require? (I am not that active, but still go for walks everyday) - Where does your dog sleep? - Is it ok if he/she sleeps on the bed or is a crate required? - Any interesting quirks about your doggie I should be aware of? - is your dog friendly with people and other dogs? - Any particular dog breed, behavior, or size of a dog that is triggering? (Small dog scared of big dogs, rambunctious dogs…) **Please, no aggressive dogs!!** Also, I kindly ask that your dog is fully house trained and you and household members are vaccinated.
