I have been a pet owner since I was just a toddler, and a real dog enthusiast, owner, and lover for about 10 years. My first dog was a Chihuahua whom still lives with my father, but my two dogs now are of the gentle-giant Mastiff variety, one is a little over a year and the other is still a clumsy goofy pup of about 4months old. I treat them as my children because,,. well... I don't have kids so they are my kids! And they don't require money for college or phone calls from the principal which is always a plus ;) ... I feed them the utmost quality of food for I've done loads of research on canine nutrition and like to think I'm somewhat of an expert on do's and dont's for feeding your dog correctly and firmly believe that their nutrition is 50% of where their longevity of life comes from. The other 50% is where you... and of course I, come in with happiness and exercise! I have a decent size yard for your dog to run around in and atleast once a day I go to local dog parks or nice long walks. I've done extensive reading on dog care and behaviors and am well aware of healthy play and body language. I believe proper care for your dog requires constant attention and observation meaning being left alone for no more than an hour tops! Unlike me, many dog daycares and other busy petsitters cant always guarantee that. I guarantee my house is "puppy and senior-doggy proof". I have been a pet sitter for about 5 years now and have had experience working at a local dog daycare and working in pet retail. I also thoroughly enjoy to this day working for my favorite canine shelter and rescue organization Last Hope K9 Rescue.
